Here at Moontown we have been fans of Brisbanes Laura Hill (Scraps) since discovering her 7" Secret Paradise on Disembraining Machine back in 2012. From there we moved back and forth through her discography and even brought her to Canberra a few times ~ Needless to say we had become intrigued, obsessed and addicted to the mysterious world of SCRAPS. 

TTNIK (pronounced Titanic) is her latest full length, its a hard one to pin down - Call it club music with luscious cosmic sunburn ~ Addictive, playful and sludgy synth pop that works just as well in a club setting as it does booming through the walls of a dilapidated weatherboard queenslander on a steamy afternoon. 

It is an absolute pleasure and honour to be releasing SCRAPS latest album TTNIK through Moontown ~ We hope you enjoy just as much as we do.

Moontown is a Sydney based, independent record label. Since 2012, our focus has been on releasing Australian music from friends and people we admire. The music released is not fixed to a specific genre, but a common ethos - A playful feeling of making do within the limitations of your immediate surroundings ~ Which is often highly restricted!
