For its 18th release East Recordings welcomes back Italian trio Thallulah, William Medagli and Jose Maria Ramon for another deep, melodic techno EP.

With releases on a string of respected labels like Einmusik, Separat and Natural Rhythm to name a few this production crew need no introduction. Their last release on East Recordings, Arka, stormed the Traxsource techno chart and we expect big things of this one too.

The lead track, Calling Your Name, is a beautiful affair featuring Jose Maria Ramon’s vocals, which should please both deep house heads and techno fans alike. Brazil’s biggest DJ, Rodrigo Ferrari, is on remix duties and he takes things dubby and beats-led.

The remaining two tracks, Misano and Gianicolense, are stunning downtempo musical cuts with a nod to (tasteful) progressive house but with an overall techno ethos. The latter sees the threesome joined by Valerio Zanella on production duties.

For fans of techno, deep house and musical underground house.

Booka Shade welcome back Moonwalk to deliver their first full EP on the label as the duo reveal their ‘Elessar’ EP to open December.

Milan-based, Neapolitan duo Dario Vizioli and Mauro Morabello, aka Moonwalk, have emerged in recent years as one of Italy’s brightest rising duos within the melodic house and techno scene, with releases to date via the likes of Stil vor Talent, Diynamic, Knee Deep In Sound and Suara gaining the attention of a host of the industry’s leading names, from Solomun to Carl Cox and beyond. Having debuted on Blaufield earlier in the year to remix Arm In Arm’s ‘Hunger For Your Vibe’, most notably featured during ARTBAT’s stand out Cercle performance, here we see the pairing return to Booka Shade’s label to deliver their first full EP on the label entitled ‘Elessar’.

Title production ‘Elessar’ opens the EP in emphatic fashion as the pair weave soaring lead synths amongst suspenseful, energy building breaks and sweeping sonics, whilst ‘Cheos’ welcomes as slightly darker aesthetic as rich melodies meet restrained yet punchy percussion arrangements alongside further towering builds and breaks. Last up, the duo combine with fellow Italian Erly Tepshi to unveil the softer yet bright ‘Ikarus’, guided by resonant leads and Elenora’s infectious vocals throughout.
