This is my second track for my FAWM album 2024. This one's a play on drowning ships and how "situationships" always sink. I used a ton of effects for the vocals & threw in a ton of glitches, reflecting how broken those types of relationship dynamics end up.

 Fear of the dark can be shared by adults and children....yet in the end we realize that "Monsters" teach us  to overcome and understand "We all have a closet that never gets opened at night"

Collaboration between Adam Kane(Drum samples) and myself...
My intention was to use   themes from our "Heretic"  past (Bedlam to be exact), insert EVPS (recorded voices of the dead) for color and texture.

 There are stylistic nods to King Crimson: They were a huge influence on my playing during the 1970's--(the guitar solo is loosely based on Fracture ,not to mention Adams drum samples of Asbury Park and the EVP that sounds like the Easy Money " Laugh Box")
  To achieve a sort of "live" feel most of the playing is one take and not 100%.....this also has to do with computer latency issues( and eventual data loss) that forced me to stop before it could be cleaned up properly
