The Rainforest Cowboy is wishing everyone in Bhutan a very special holiday season.  We'll be exploring more about Bhutan in future tracks.  Bhutan is located just north of India, and west of China and is a land-locked nation of about 800,000 people.  Exceptionally beautiful, absolutely gorgeous and the amazing people there - something else.  

It's the next track I meant to upload, but, both are pretty good - I left it up so you may choose - hey!, maybe you'll like both!.  I hope I got the instruments correct, let me know, please.  All my love to the people of Bhutan..  I've been researching Bhutan for a while now since I noticed many listeners there - I try to understand various cultures.  I went with Bhutan first over other nations as with less then a million people it's easy to have your nation overlooked ... so I wanted to make a special effort to get to know Bhutan and that myself and the listeners all care about you.

I'm using traditional instruments of Bhutan: dranyen (six-string lute), lingm (bamboo flute), chiwang (two-string fiddle), dramnyen (folk version of the dranyen), and yangchen (dulcimer-like hammered instrument) in this song.

Description:
名古屋を拠点に活動する4人組オルタナティブ・ロック・バンドApple Lightの新作『Are you happy now?』が完成した。今作は彼らのキャリア3枚目となる作品。「消えゆくの時の儚さ」を切り取ったような切なく、優しいメロディと歌詞、90年代オルタナティブロックの影響を感じさせる疾走感のあるサウンドが重なり、繊細なメロディが作り上げる蒼く儚い音世界はリスナーの胸をしめつける。

アルバムのアートワーク・イラストは、アフタヌーン四季賞佳作入選しデビュー、「土星マンション」（小学館）で第１５回文化庁メディア芸術祭マンガ部門大賞受賞の岩岡ヒサエが担当。惜しくもメンバーの急逝により4人で作る最初で最後の作品となってしまった今作は、「音楽に救われてきた者にしか作れない」作品であり、彼らの音楽へ対する想いが積もった傑作となっている。
