This contribution to our fundraiser series is particularly poignant, the Ukrainian producer and DJ, Monotronique, has had a hugely personal experience and effect on these atrocities in his homeland, so we are very grateful for his offering here. Yes then.
This show right here rounds off my residency with Mode so I'm glad it turned out to be a sick one. Expect 2 hours of Leftfield Bass, Tech, Breaks and more - the first from myself and the last being covered by Glasgow's Hang Tough, a not-for-proft label championing the forefront of the underground club sound.

Mode's given me a great platform to move into the radio space over the past year or so & really get into the scene, for that I'm more than thankful.
After my time on the station I think I'm ready to move on & press forward as the sounds I'm listening to, mixing and producing are progressing  - I'm looking to focus on that development before I take up another platform to showcase what I've got going on.

The phrase “FOOTMAHI” was first brought to light by BFC founding member MUSHMANE of Tainui.

The story goes that the BFC were huddled up drinking a communal slab of 8% Cody’s on a bitterly cold Ōtautahi winters afternoon watching a young in-form Shaun Johnson absolutely tear the Sydney Roosters defence to shreds with his electric “footwork” - when Mushmane screamed out “LOOK AT THE FOOTMAHI” changing the course of BFC history forever all in the birthplace of The Big Fresh Collective; The Parage on 40A Richill Street, Belfast, Ōtautahi.

The Journey of Footmahi has taken us all over AOTEAROA working with & entertaining people from all walks of life that we are proud to call our Whānau ❤️‍🔥

Formative producing years in bass and breaks have built the beginnings of crafting a sound;
With forthcoming productions seeing the light of day via platforms like Keep Hush, BBC Introducing, Balamii, The Lot Radio, Reprezent & SWU.
