Wonderful Noise is without a doubt one of our favorite record labels in Japan. They have introduced us to artists such as Electric Wire Hustle, Julien Dyne and Lord Echo.

In 2014 they continue to surprise us with their "Conglomerates" compilation album. Again there's an obvious link to New Zealand since it was compiled with the help of Julien Dyne. You can enjoy some brand new music from Christoph El' Truento, Lord Echo, Mara TK, Isaac aesili, Ladi6, Pacific Heights and more.

Today brotha El. Train from Brighton drops the track "Control" featuring the enchanting Miki Rose out of Los Angeles.

The past few months we've been closely involved with Miki, because we're really feeling her style. When El. Train hit her up to lace some vocals for his upcoming "Somewhere Between" EP, we didn't expect this to happen though. This song has quickly become my personal favorite song from Miki Rose in a short amount of time and I'm very sure it will become an all time favorite of yours too!

Singer Danderson and Brasstracks collaborate on the EP and Jengibeats, Trian Kayhatu and JNTHN STEIN deliver some serious remixes for this project.

It is our pleasure to premiere the first track and be able to provide a FREE DOWNLOAD as well! Somewhere Between was created as a way to spotlight some of El. Did you know Singapore's best kept secret goes by the name of TAJ? Tim de Cotta (bass/vocals), Audrey Tengkey (piano, keys and synth) and Teo Jia Rong (drums) form the exciting contemporary Jazz trio TAJ.

Their forthcoming "The Astral Journey" EP will be released with local independent record label, Darker Than Wax. It's a cross pollination of beats, psychedelia, post-rock, breaks and everything it takes to please the discerning ears of contemporary Jazz fans.

We gratefully premiere the title track, which is by far the most organic piece of music on the EP. If you like Robert Glasper, you need to feast your ears on this fasho!

The EP comes out January 30th and includes remixes from Dutch producer Jaël and Cosa Nostra from Singapore.

Three weeks have passed since the inception of ‘Werk Space’. A monthly Dutch producer series that takes place at the Red Bull Studios Amsterdam. Here’s how it works.
Each month we invite a producer from the Netherlands to showcase his artistry and challenge him to work in an amazingly fruitful environment.

The Red Bull Studios Amsterdam is a state-of-the-art recording and production facility, where renowned and up-and-coming artists, are provided with everything they need in order to celebrate and create music!

Nineteen-year-old Singularis delivers the first blow with some help of fellow producer Sndwvs. After two days of pure creativity, and some laughs, they left the studio having devised a laid back Hiphop beat entitled “Ride”. 

We joyfully premiere the very first piece of music spawned from this series. We’ll merge all three tracks into one EP and release it as a free download early April.

Next month our guests will be @Moodsprod from Rotterdam and a young vocalist from Ghent. Best believe this is only the first of many music findings. You will come to know, love and respect the many talented producers our little country has to offer.

Moglebaum started as a one-man-project some years ago by twenty-two-year-old producer and Jazz pianist Simon Ebener-Holschera. At this moment in time the band consists of five musicians all hailing from Germany.

Moglebaum's "Ozean" project is the first of several EP's to be released February 16th on French imprint Cosmonostro and I appreciate G always sending me a heads up. Glenn Astro currently resides in Essen and has spent half his life producing and DJ'ing. He started out with Hip-Hop and later got into ultra soulful House music.

Glenn returns with another gang of grooves. His warm, soul-infused "Hologram" EP is  is forthcoming on WotNot Music and is set to be released on vinyl March 23rd and digitally early April.

None other than Henry Wu (22a) was called in for help to remix "Love Is Gone", which he does with a delightful, jazz-instilled flip. Since we have been following both closely for a while, we are stoked to exclusively premiere this particular track of the Hologram EP.

Meet Mozzdeep everyone. This 17-year-old beatmaker out of Bangalore, India is a huge retro video games fanatic. Especially the music in these retro video games.

He started creating music a year and a half ago under the name Mozzdeep and sees Hudson Mohawke and Rustie as two of his major influences. 

Mozzdeep's track record is not extensive, but he's released one track with Laruche and another one with Mellow Orange in the past. Get ready for his forthcoming "No Qualms" EP out April 5th on Laruche Records.

Hir-O is a beatsmith coming out of the Motor City who combines elements of Jazz and Funk into his music. His music is not new to us, but last month DOC Mastermind first introduced us to Hir-O's new "Emissary" album, which is a prequel to his previous instrumental soundtrack "The Voyage Home".

We fell in love with one track, "Lovely Day on Dagoba", in particular featuring The Elements Band. We played this song on our last radio show and it's the most amazing and uplifting song to come out recently.

Those who have been following us for a while, might remember Faraji Heritage Experiment's "A/R/T" project from 2012. This Bandcamp demo was a mere taste of greater things to come and the time for this coming is upon us.

The Moroccan composer is back on the set with a brand new project, entitled "Nafsi". It means soul or being in Swahili. Hussein Ibn Faraji discovered his grandfather's name was not Arabic, but Swahili. This inspired him to bring together musicians of various backgrounds and have them use swahili nicknames. The same way Herbie Hancock and other Jazz men did back in in the seventies.

Cosmonostro will be releasing this project April 20th and we are delighted to exclusively premiere the amazing "Ode To Wattstax".

This time around we unfortunately only got to spend 1 day in the Red Bull Studios Amsterdam for our monthly 'Werk Space' project with Jengi Beats. The young producer from Den Bosch turned 19 in January and is well on his way to becoming one of our national export products. You might know Jengi Beats, because of his affiliation with ZenSupremacy, Youtellme or Bitbird. Or perhaps you've heard his remix of El. Train's "Control" featuring miss Miki Rose.

Anyway sir Jengi Beats worked on a little track called "Sun Sun" during his Werk Space visit to the Red Bull Studios Amsterdam.

Next week @Wantigga will join us in the studio and best believe you will discover, love and respect many more talented Dutch producers.

Earlier this month PATCHWORK out of Haarlem came down to the Red Bull Studios Amsterdam to join us for our 'Werk Space' project. The young producer invited his @ZenSupremacy label buddy @iamChefred and recorded a gang of new material.

The instrumental version of "So Far" was also birthed during his visit to the studios and was supposed to have singer Danny Cainco from Dallas on vocals.
Sadly he was unable to record the vocals on time due to technical difficulties.

Later this week we will have @Giorgio-Oehlers join us in the studio. He will be the 2nd @DarkerThanWax representative, but best believe you will discover, love and respect many more talented Dutch producers.

For his new album "City" (forthcoming on Naim Label) Stuart McCallum steps even further into the world of electronica, whilst still maintaining that magical combination of both acoustic and electronic instruments that gives his music such a distinctive sound.

The guitarist/composer from Manchester made the decision to bring in London-based drummer/producer, Richard Spaven, who he met during his time playing with Cinematic Orchestra. All tracks are co-written by Stuart McCallum and Richard Spaven apart from the title track City, which we so proudly premiere on Soundcloud today.

As you might know already, Moglebaum is a band consisting of five musicians out of Germany. It all started with the creative enthusiasm of producer and Jazz pianist Simon Ebener-Holscher, but it was not for long that the remaining four members found their way to the group.

VI is a mysterious new project based around the symbol visualized in the artwork. The artist behind this project is already established in the scene, but wanted to take a step back and focus on his production and writing skills. Together with Grammy award winner @Nikki-Cislyn and stunning newcomer @PoppyAjudha, VI created an EP where the sound and collective vibe are the focus.

Since we loved the first two singles of the "VI" EP (forthcoming on LadenLife) it was a no brainer when we got the opportunity to premiere the third and final track titled "Odds Of Life". This song really grows on you due to it's massive soulful Reggae groove and features miss Nikki Cislyn on vocals.

The "VI" EP drops later this month and for the time being VI is giving away a limited free download!

One of Amsterdam's hottest producers goes by the name of Jarreau Vandal. This 24-year-old producer came down to the Red Bull Studios Amsterdam for our 10th edition of Werk Space.
With some help from drummer extraordinair Richard Spaven, the Dutch Soulection representative created the track "Rooftops". This demo is available for free download and might get some additional vocals added in the near future.

APSD is the collaboration between Melbourne long time producers Amin Payne and Sean Deans. They both work non stop - as a part of the respected Melbourne music scene - on bridging the gap between Boogie, Beats, Disco and Future House sounds.

Baron Retif & Concepcion Perez (BR&CP for short) consists of Benjamin Fain and Robert Pierre Valero. The musical duo has released music on Heavenly Sweetness and Musique Large and now return with their debut Long Player.

The title of their new full-length is "Navettes", which loosely translates to spaceship or shuttle and is the main inspiration for the album: the soundtrack to an imaginary summer cruise on a futuristic space-craft.

If you're into Hip-Hop with subtle Jazz notes and heavy bass lines, you're going to like Navettes. The main cut for us was "Flexible Funk" and it is our pleasure to premiere this one on our Soundcloud page.

Though we haven't premiered any music for a minute, we couldn't say no when Mecca:83 asked us to premiere Oz's song "Beautiful" on Soundcloud.

We never knew Oz nor had we heard his music, but it's never too late now is it? Sadly this remarkable human being passed before being able to release any solo material.

It's been a while, but we're stoked to premiere a new SoulParlor track remixed by Henry Wu. Take a listen to Henry's Broken style remix of "Pure" of the soon to be released 'Misplaced Jukebox Remixes' EP.

The EP contains five remixes from international heavyweights such as K15, PCM, Ugly Drums, Roman Rauch and Henry Wu. It sees its official release on May 17 and we hear INI movement has plans to maybe release this on vinyl.
