Tonight's All Things Considered makes the case for Buck 65, the simultaneous icon and enigma of Canadian underground hip hop. Having been active since the early 90s, Buck 65 has produced a ton of enigmatic, boundary pushing rap. With his recent return to rapping, I felt it was time to consider his career, and try to overcome the various facets of his different eras to come to a more general conclusion about his discography -- a layered, tough, and rewarding collection of songs, moods, and experiments which deserve more recognition.
