Matsuri Digital presents SPINDRIFT and this exclusive mix. Spindrift is the solo project of Leo Bergman, who has been producing music since the early days of trance and goa. Growing up with music and synthesizers he started playing violin at 5 and bought his first synth at 10 from money earned from singing and acting in a musical at the Broadway of Stockholm. His interest in electronic music started seriously with bands like Skinny Puppy and Front 242, and then progressed to acid/techno when that appeared. In the season of 91/92 he went to Goa and found the perfect combination of EBM, industrial, acid and techno in the parties there. When producing he stays clear of templates and presets, and creates tracks from scratch using a combination of analogue and digital modular systems, and the result has clear old-school Goa influences, but with modern production. Somehow different but yet familiar, slower but still intense, and with each track telling a different story.

Deep below coiled Jörmugandr, shaking the axis mundi with every breath. Above, crows and ravens circled as omens, while The Black Shaman chanted in shadows.

When the serpent stirred, the pit became a mouth of darkness, swallowing the lured.

Highko Virtuanoise Zigurat - Magic Bike

This edition focuses on Argentine artist PARANOIAC, with five released EPs that have all landed in Goa Gil's top ten chart and the sixth one in the pipeline, and a written interview in The Prophet to go along with the set he made for radiOzora listeners.

Paranoiac is a musician and DJ from Argentina that got immersed deep in music production at the age of 13 Years. He studied guitar, drums and played with various rock bands and trip-hop/ ambient projects. Also he works on a project called Phantom Deep making Ambient, and Downtempo.
Aside from laying out psychedelic trance beats, He also ventilates his creativity through other genres of expression, however the common denominators have been electronic circuitry and sequences since 2002.
Stylistically, he seeks to craft tunes that are rich in atmospheric feelings and full of colour empowered by the strength of intense basslines and nocturnal psychedelic trance with different Bpms.
For his musical range and unique style of Trance Music, on his first steps, soon he was recognized by Devils Mind Records ( India / Sweden) Founded by Silent Horror and Kiriyama. Also he founded his own label called Burning Trip Records (Argentina) then, some months after, he join to Samana Records (Dubai)
His music was discovered and used by Goa Gil without Paranoiac do the typical way (sending music) He let Music & Time do the work, not words or "good vibra" thanks to that, and his special music, currently the Dj sets of Goa Gil have many Paranoiac songs, and has also been Joined to Goa Gil's Goa Trance Chart since his first ep, even until his latest Release.

He think, that he make deep music, for deep people with warm blood…

Depois de muita espera, angústia e dedicação eu apresento o meu primeiro EP, Dançando com o Leviatã.  
Composto por músicas de sentimentos transmutados de um passado não tão distante, essa obra é um reflexo de mihas raizes, tanto no trance quanto na MPB. Usei diversos samples de músicas que carregam um grande significado para mim até os dias de hoje.
 O principal objetivo dessa obra é instigar a dança e o auto conhecimento que ela propõe. Misturando o samba brasileiro com Hi -Tech Trance e Darkpsy Trance as músicas estao arranjadas de uma forma que elas possam contar uma história, a minha história. 
Esse vai ser o meu primeiro EP de muitos, e tenho que agradecer ao mesus pais e amigos que sempre me apoiram e especialmente Gabriel Quintiliano (Arkhos), Samuel Zimmermann (Parondroid), Antoni (Mirror Me) pelas aulas e conhecimentos passados. Agradecimentos também a Piv Klit por dar uma chance ao meu projeto e Marcelo Dubiachi por ter masterizado as tracks.
