Back to the purest Disco sound in our new episode of MM Cast, brought to you by Maurizio Schiró, also known as DJ SCM. Born in Palermo but based in Berlin, Maurizio has grown in the Berlin underground scene alongside his own imprint 'WATAJ,' through which he has released a significant number of tracks under different aliases like Enzo Conoga, Tony Pianola, Mariella Novanta, Mimmo Stella, and Santo Piccante. Records where disco and balearic go hand in hand, delivering a fresh, original, and highly addictive sound. Releases like ' Paesaggi Immaginary,' and the mini album ' Introducing Tony Pianola in Luce Artificiale' speak for themselves about DJ SCM's elegance, although undoubtedly 'Estoy Totalmente Loca por ti' was the record that definitively put him in the spotlight of the scene with that mix of 90's balearic and italian dream house that literally 'turned us crazy'

Over the past 8 years, Raf has actively engaged in Toronto's music scene. He served as a curator at June Records for 5 years and edited TEMPO, a dance music zine in Toronto. On this recording we hear Raf seamlessly blend genres, spanning various tempos and eras. Raf's diverse musical influences shine through in his releases under Raf Reza and the Radiant Aura Faculty. He's performed across the UK and Europe, even participating in the 2019 Red Bull Bass Camp in Calgary. Raf's musical sensibility and limitless creativity promise to push dance floors' boundaries for years to come.
