Bringing back 90s techno with a Trance, Acid techno twist, this modern shaman is a resident DJ at Amsterdam's iconic queer bash, Church Club. He's all about that vinyl life, picture a sonic hug that'll move your soul. From Berlin to Amsterdam to Cape Town, this music mystic has worked his magic in festivals, clubs, and on the airwaves (shoutout to HÖR, Rinse FM, Red Light Radio to name but a few). 01 Conrad Pack - Gateway (Version) CLIP

Next up as part of the Local Selection series is talented producer and DJ, Olympias. Her live and DJ sets are inspired by dub, deep house and techno, creating a warm and hypnotic sound which can be heard throughout this mix. 

Having grown up in Dublin, Olympias was drawn to the nightclub scene and began to learn about DJing at after-parties. She began playing piano from the age of 6, which saw her first foray into gigging playing piano bars in Dublin. 

Her skills behind the decks brought her to perform in clubs such as Radion and Sugarfactory in Amsterdam as well as shows in Hong Kong, Thailand, Germany, Italy, Spain and the US. She had a residency in Dublin with Division at Pygmalion and her radio show on InsomniaFM aired to thousands of listeners, earning her a spot after Chris Liebing’s AM/FM podcast.

In recent years, she decided to focus more on music production, taking on a course with Elevator Program, and releasing her first EP 'Black Bird' with their label. She kept her training going and started 1-1 sessions with producer, Subb-An, and mixing tips from Dope Choppa. Her hypnotic style is influenced by dance music from the late 2000s, where her live sets are inspired by chill-out, dub, deep house, minimal, techno, and a bit of blues, creating a warm and hypnotic sound. 

This is the perfect midweek musical mood enhancer. Catch her play this Friday in the Pawn Shop.
