Bio
Le Son du Placard has always been attracted by electronic sounds and heady beats. He is continuously experiencing a lot of different ways of catching this spirit and energy. Discovered by the Cosmic Boys and first signed on they imprint Scander, he has since the signed on a lot of big names like Form rec. (Popof’s imprint), Phobos, Soupherb, Electrovino, Music4Aliens. His music is played by great names like Dubfire or Spartaque all around the world.
His hybrid sets are always big crowd moving performances. He played international gigs in Bulgaria, Mauritius, La Réunion, Belgium, Switzerland. He played in France in many clubs comprising La Centrale (Dijon), Le Diskret (Lyon), L’Antirouille (Montpellier), Le Drak’art (Grenoble)… He also played at Stone Moon 5 and Evasion festival in 2018. His music is fed by cold technology and tells about what robots could dream of.

From a serial killers basement, somewhere in London UK, Hefty has pioneered the darkside for over a decade. Undoubtedly the preeminent master of darker sounds, skillfully preparing you for the impending apocalypse with his unique style. His music is heavily influenced by a wide range of subjects including geo politics, psychology, world affairs, conspiracy theories, the occult and modern history.

It's small wonder Hefty has enjoyed the attention of well respected labels, and most importantly, has earned the loyalty and dedication of fans who have been known to travel for many hours just to hear him play. Famed for his raw, heavy and uncompromising dark sets, this London based DJ has been in international demand over the past years, conquering clubs and festivals (eg. Tresor, Modem Festival, Bucht der Träumer Festival) across Europe and as far as Brazil, Canada and Australia.

After a few years, he was inspired to create his own label: Darker Sounds. Focused solely on showcasing underground dark techno and emerging talent, Darker Sounds has never compromised its dedication to keeping the style and quality of its out put consistently high.
Unafraid to constantly refine and evolve his style, Hefty ventured into the world of psychedelic trance. Carving out his own path, he has used his techno production techniques to create his own style of dark, driving psychedelic trance. He decided to create his own psychedelic label "Erebos Records" which has become a platform for releasing the darkest psy trance from the best undiscovered artists from around the world.

This psychedelic adventure then lead Hefty to start producing his own version of downtempo / chillout music, which he calls Dark Tek Chillout. Produced at 100bpm, this style is dark, heavy and hypnotic, allowing Hefty to truly experiment with the dancefloor and bring awareness to the various dark subjects that inspire his music.

Now armed with a trifecta of genres, Hefty is on track to further cement his reputation as an unstoppable force in the the dark realm.

BlackGummy is the creation of Los Angeles-based producer Iman Marouf, who
discovered the mysterious entity known as BlackGummy during a transformative
journey in 2013. This encounter sparked a unique fusion of identities, driving
BlackGummy’s obsessive quest for mastery in sound design and music production. Under the mentorship of renowned producer Steve Duda, Iman also contributed to the development of the legendary synthesizer Serum, adding to his growing reputation for forward-thinking sound design and music production.

In 2015, mau5trap quickly recognized BlackGummy’s unique prowess and released his first original track, “Lullaby,” followed by the critically acclaimed Singularity EP in 2016. This release set the tone for BlackGummy’s dark, cinematic sound and led to a trilogy of EPs — including Impactor and Monolith — each exploring profound themes and earning praise from industry giants.

Following his own headline tour and standout performances at festivals such as EDC Las Vegas, EDC Mexico, EDC Guangdong, Lollapalooza, BUKU Music + Art Project, and Shambhala — among many others — BlackGummy continues to push the boundaries of electronic music.

Now, after completing his trilogy, BlackGummy stepped back to create his most
ambitious body of work yet — a project larger in scope than all three EPs combined, and his most expansive concept to date. This new era launched with a headline show at Sound for the We Are Friends event and a direct support slot for deadmau5 in London. Entering a new chapter, BlackGummy is preparing to unveil his long-awaited debut album, set to begin rolling out on mau5trap starting August 22, 2025, with the full release arriving later this year.
