Indigo Aera is rebooting its ÆX limited whitelabel series after 3 years of silence. This new release aex016 marks the start of a new run of various artist ep’s with the familiar recipe: dancefloor oriented dj tools drawing inspiration from the more classic side of techno.

The release includes 2 new names to the label: the A1 track from Malin Genie is a true homage to the percussive tribal techno era in the ‘90s. The A2 from Anna Kost, is a strong electro / house hybrid which builds on a strong flowing breakbeat. A3 is pure melodic Detroit styled dub, from Ivano Tetelepta, who simply never disappoints and always delivers the highest standard. The final two “last but not least” tracks are solo productions from labelheads Jasper Wolff and Maarten Mittendorff.

Co-founder of Norway’s future-facing Ute crew, Ekkel (Teo Bachs) has a front-row seat in the cockpit on their psychedelic flavoured quest. From their woodland beginnings they’ve staked a claim to freedom through music and community, and expanded to include brick and mortar club nights and a self-titled label for the release of their magnetic and mysterious techno sounds. The past few years too have seen him hard at work exploring the possibilities of sound in a lonely cabin as part of Solar Alliance, collaborating with S.O.N.S on Korean label Junction Forest and producing many more unreleased tracks, some of which you’ll hear here first for a very special number. It’s a wormhole trip that marches headlong from the shadows, shimmering and physical beats that heave and swell, tribal breaks that flit from track to track and build a cathartic mood that harks back to Ute’s woodland roots. Returning to the Podcast for yet another round of Mach 4 techno comes Mala Junta head honcho DJ Tool, a live recording from his clubnight’s Bassiani takeover back in March. The Danish-born, German-based selector and former Fast Forward collaborator is every bit the sound and feel of Copenhagen, the gritty, trance-focused beats that have found a home in the Danish city run through his work like liquid mercury and now have Berlin in their grasp. And for one special night earlier this year, alongside D.Dan and Yazzus, Tbilisi too came under his fevered spell. On the latest instalment of his VALA series, Finnish techno explorer Kaspiann tunnels into heads-down, mind-warping rhythm tracks of the highest order. Alongside his appearance on respected platforms such as Delsin Mantis and Optic Portal (alongside Spekki Webu), VALA affords Kaspiann the space to explore the depth and breadth of his sound with steely focus. The four tracks on VALA 4 are teeming with tactile textures and intricate detail that feel familiar and abstract all at once, perhaps best described by the titles that indulge in a little Finnish word play. 'Sammalkämmen', literally translated as 'moss palm', feels like a fitting reflection of the spongy mid-range matter on the opening track, while the humid, dense atmosphere of B1 cut 'Suohunaja' could indeed conjure a sense of 'swamp honey'. From 'Sienikieli's tunnelling rhythmic intrigue to the intricately arranged, expressive percussion of 'Niin Vain', Kaspiann continues to broaden his vocabulary within the language of deep techno, triggering ineffable sensations from carefully sculpted sonic forms and strapping them to incisive rhythms.

Generali Minerali is a producer, DJ, and live performer based in Tbilisi, Georgia, and a resident artist and crew member of the TES Club collective. Known for his versatile approach, Generali Minerali creates music that blurs the lines between genres while staying rooted in electro and techno aesthetics. His sound is raw, experimental, and deeply rhythmic, often combining heavy machine funk with abstract textures and broken patterns.
