Here is the wild and playful ride that was closing the Dohm! We had SO MUCH FUN, i've never felt a connection this strong between booth and dance floor while playing. I'm really happy to share this journey online <3 

MUSICAL CONTEXT: It was a day filled with experimental music and the artist before me performed a trippy live set at 170bpm so I tried to create contrast in the beginning and then build up from there. Since there was no set vibe that day I tried out a lot of different things and watched how people responded on the dance floor. After covering a lot of the techno spectrum, at one point it clicked and it became a vibe-democratically chosen trippy banging progressive (tech) house closing that went completely wild. Then THE dub techno club track at the very end as a final dance. It was such a beautiful moment and everyone was one, dancing hard. It was supposed to be 3 hours but i was asked to play longer so we went on :)

(i edited the recording so it's a more immersive listening experience, it was recorded in mono so i made it a bit more stereo! Also, photo credits to cameron aka @aesthetic_lunatic)

Through a string of hypnotic releases for the likes of Semantica, The Gods Planet, Kvalia and his own imprint, Inner Tension, the Polish DJ and producer has been minting a sound signature both impeccably fuel-efficient and immersive to the full. Seeking the meditative thrill of sensory entanglement through contrasting dynamic forces and melodic chiaroscuros, Malinowski treats us to a rivetingly evocative outpour of shape-shifting techno epics and sunken, reverb-drenched atmospherics spiraling in and out of focus. Vindya is a Manchester-based interdisciplinary artist working as both a DJ and a composer. As a composer, Vinthya Perinpanathan researches ancient ritual music from her Tamil-Sinhalese roots in Sri Lanka, which heavily shapes her contemporary compositions.

As a DJ, she performs dark, soulful, and sound design-oriented techno. Her sets emphasize the parallels between techno and her ancestral music—repetition, percussion, and tension—underlining her overarching theme of unity and border transcendence.

This formula has taken her to dancefloors including FOLD, Tresor, and Radion. Vindya also incorporates hybrid elements like live violin and field recordings from Sri Lanka into her performances. She is scheduled to return to her country of heritage to perform in 2026.
