Currently holding residencies in The Hague (The Crave) and Amsterdam (RRFM), and with over a decade of experience in Djing and event organizing, she’s a great contributor to the Dutch music scene.

As an artist she has a wide range and a thoughtful approach to not only music, but also the setting in which it is experienced. As the founder of @ISOTOOP, which has now also grown into a creative studio, she organizes events that play with sound and space, giving visitors an experience that stimulates both mind and body.

When it comes to the dancefloor, Van Anh does not restrict herself to any niche. With a versatile taste and collection she gets people moving in just about any setting. The recording you’re about to hear is her playing at our event back in March, an intense night in the pitchblack of the second room and this set certainly reflects that. So without further ado, enjoy Van Anh’s set at PAX in RADION!

For our first mix of the year, we keep it homegrown with Rotterdam duo @black-cadmium. Mike Richards and Joginda Macnack's artist alias is influenced by two things - their Surinamese descent, and a poisonous chemical which they say is a metaphor for "the discrepancy between one's capabilities and the world's view." Their own capabilities lay in mixing up everything from hi-tek to Detroit tech, London grime to Dutch electro. They have landed on labels like Vault Wax and really open up their collections for this week's podcast.

In usual Black Cadmium fashion, anything goes here as they race through rave, bass, acid and club with relentless energy. The mixing is tight and quick as tracks fly by at a high pace but always in a great balance between the mind, body and soul. A jacked-up soulful house cut will lead to a double-time bass workout then deep and punchy Motor City sounds make way for head-wrecking bass futurism. Hold on tight, then, because this is one thrilling ride.

Next up on the series we have Marcelo Antonio, a Chile-based producer and DJ known for his distinctive hypnotic sound. Marcelo has established himself with signature compositions characterized by deep, minimal, and storytelling narratives.

He has built a strong oeuvre of releases on labels such as Float Records, Out of Sight, and Platform 22, all showcasing his unique style and musical maturity. We are excited to showcase his talent on the podcast.

This mix, in particular, is a culmination of our ongoing passion for stripped-back, compelling interpretations of techno—a style we dearly love.
