PositiveValuesNetwork.com welcomes students to the March (3rd quarter) ALL SCHOOL SCIENCE ASSEMBLY ZOOM ROOM with special guest, Ivi Shaw, Chemist, held March 24, 2021.  Students from the classrooms, virtual school, at home, from West Virginia to Alabama zoomed together to experience science and talk about capillary motion.  Watching water move not only illustrated plant function but also teaches us that when different colors "collaborate", we see a beautiful transformation! 

Special guest, Ms. Ivi, chats about her love for science, rural Alabama, getting her BS in Chemistry, career, travel, and her curiosity to use information with science to help people be healthy and well!  She provides an explanation not only of the science behind capillary movement but also relates how we, like each color in the experiment, come together from different places with RESPECT for one another's "feelings, wishes, rights, and traditions".  A Positive Action inclusive activity is available on PositiveActionsNetwork.com "materials" tab.

The ALL SCHOOL SCIENCE ASSEMBLY ZOOM ROOM concluded with "Ask Ms. Ivi" time where children chatted about education, travel, and science.  Students also had an opportunity to email questions to Ms. Ivi at ahottfamily@gmail.com
