The main riff for this song came to me while I was handing my wife her guitar as she was leaving on a trip. Over the next day or so, the words came. For me, music is a form of therapy. I see this song as my subconscious attempting to come to terms with climate change and the degradation of the environment. It all came so quickly and easily that you could say it wrote itself. A friend commented, "It's nice when the muse does all of the heavy-lifting."

Back From the Edge

Morgan recorded the majority of songs for his latest album, "Celestial Traveler," in three days. The album moves through many forms of music - ambient, psychedelic, space rock, funk, and hopefully sounds that haven't been named yet. This album is the culmination of a prolonged period of inner turmoil, followed by a sudden, unexpected release - "The Untakable Step." 

The album will be released on all major music websites on October 9th 2020.
