Rasta Love, as in the Love that abounds between a man and a woman, is some of the sweetest love to see and behold.  More and more, younger artists are sharing the love they feel for their spouse, and fans can’t get enough.  Iba Mahr takes us on his journey of Love via one of his newest releases “Love You Girl!”
 
Performed to the In Transit Riddim, the Youth from Harar pours out his heart to the apple of his eye, which includes lyrics of love and devotion like:  “I just simply love it when you put it on I / cause ain’t no other do it better than I / remember it was love that created you and I / so don’t be shy / this love we constituted / could never be diluted / and you’re the prescription the doctor recommended….”
 
There is nothing more reassuring for a woman than to hear lyrics of love and romance from the man she adores.  In this case, Iba is singing on behalf of men around the world who may struggle to say the words themselves!

Sellassie I Way is the first compilation to be released under Israel Records (Jamaica) and seeks to highlight both the young as well as the established talents from Jamaica and the Caribbean Diaspora with a message in their music.

 Recorded at Grafton Studios, St. Andrew, this project is produced by T’Jean Bennett, co-produced by Mikey Bennett and has Romel Marshall as the engineer. We are particularly proud to have garnered the musical guidance and services of the Legendary Earl ‘Chinna’ Smith on guitar. Our instrumentalists also include Kirk Bennett on drums, Andrew Campbell on bass guitar, Shane Greensword on keyboard and Kevon Webster on keyboard over dub.

 Sellassie I Way is recorded with a view to spreading the gospel to the four corners of the Earth through our indigenous music - Reggae.

Joseph Hill, cantor e compositor do lendário jamaicano Cultura trio vocal, desmaiou e morreu durante uma turnê da Europa de 2006.Para o espanto de promotores, fãs e críticos, Kenyatta pisou no palco e entregou performances eletrizantes. Isso era algo inédito em qualquer gênero de música a qualquer momento.Kenyatta deu tudo de si que os dois pareciam se tornar um, as vozes assustadoramente semelhantes e as vibrações inflamaram os críticos.
Na Williams Center Ranny em Kingston Jamaica no concerto memorial para seu pai, o desempenho de Kenyatta com Cultura foi o destaque de uma estrela da noite cravejada e lhe rendeu o apoio vibrante do público que é difícil de agradar em Kingston. Kenyatta passou a frente do Culture em uma série de performances em os EUA, Caribe, Brasil, Argentina e Peru, mais uma vez deixando o público surpreso e encantado.
Influenciado por elementos do dancehall, fundamentadas na tradição raízes e motivado para continuar o trabalho de seu pai, Kenyatta decidiu terminar as canções que Joseph tinha começado e criar novas músicas de sua autoria.Em sua estréia ilustre o single, "papai" (Tafari Records), apoiado por um elenco magistral de músicos, incluindo Sly Dunbar e Dean Fraser, e produzido por Lynford "Fatta" Marshall, ele enfrentou a dor emocional e incerteza que sentiu após a perda de seu pai.Ele chorou enquanto escrevia, assim como em shows na Europa choriu enquanto cantava.
