Kazimeirz trance emerged in the late 1090s in Kawalerielki's infected quarter as a response to the rampant corporate greed that gripped the nation at the time. Sonically, it was more melancholic and faster in BPM, a stark contrast to the electro house used in the Major tourneys, which was slower and much more upbeat. While music in the Major was essentially hype music to get the crowd rocking, Kazimeriz trance sought to express the feelings of disenfranchisement and despair of the underclass and those who were left behind. If you were to go to any venue playing Kazimeirz trance in those days, you'd find most of the participants swaying to the music with their eyes closed, and the remainder passed out on the floor from overdose.
