Nicola Romeo:
The Italian Nicola Romeo was born 13.06.1979 in Hanau. When he was a boy it was certain that he had the music flowing through his veins. In 1997 he discovered his love and passion: electronic beats. He was inspired by Clubs like Omen, the Box and the Dorian. His sound reaches from Deep House to rhythmic Tech House. His first experience as a DJ took place in the Frankfurt club scene, the MTW and even Monza. Soon he had gigs abroad as well. He performed in Austria, Turkey, Italy and the Netherlands. In 2003, fuessewackeln.de was born. It’s an event series which is very successful in the Main Kinzig area. Today, Nicola is a constant part of the electronic scene in Frankfurt. Since October 2012 he also manages the even series “We are together”, taking place at Dora Brilliant in Frankfurt. But that’s still not everything. Apart from his first release at Get Physical’s “kindisch label” he will also be representing Dj Mags’ Promo-Compilation.

Pablito:
Pablito was born on 3 July, 1988 in southern Italy. In his early ages, he already discovered his passion for music. When he was eleven years old, he was given a Synthesizer. This instrument changed his whole view of music. He began to dig in a new world, the electronic music. He loves to play, hear and work with it. It developed an impressive musical career which results with a 39. Rank in the top 100 Beatport Minimal Charts in August 2011 with a EP of the well known “no-Logik records” label. This EP was released by Deniele Petronelli. His new piece “What the Phunk” was released by DJ Pablito and “no-Logik x-mas 2011” in December 2011. This happened with the support of some very popular international DJs, like Koen Groeneveld, VAN DER Zvan Addy, Daniele Petronelli, Alex Young, Laidback Luke, BINGO PLAYERS, Emrah Celik, Louie CUT, Angy Kore, Mario Miranda, Mark Ramsey, Andrés Gil , MIN & MAL, Natalino Nunes and many more. Along 2012 Pablito performed in popular clubs like the Cocoon, Tanzhaus West, the Papierfabrik, ss radio London and some festivals in turkey. He continues his journey with modesty while hoping to reach the olymp of DJs some day…

Let's start 2016 with a new mixtape. Therefore I recorded my set on NYE at Wannda Circus. I played the Bahnwärter Thiel hall from 2-3:30 so this is a primetime uptempo set. This upload is without the filter actions for a better home-listening. 
Really enjoyed this one. There's no better way to start.

MAGA Is a Dj/Producer Born & raised in France, developing his soundstyle towards the cities he lived in during the last 8 years. (Cape town, Miami, Dubai).

Based half of the year in Dubai which he mainly focus his time for production & hold few residency weekly, he also spend the rest of the year on the island of Mykonos (Greece).

His musical genre is tainted of spiritual electronic vibes, mostly nourished by the exploration of organic sounds. That special combinaison offers a spiritual & lovely travel that take you to a higher musical journey. Maga - "Regata EP", is the first Opus to be released soon on Voyeur Music, with remixes from Birds Of Mind, and Zone+ & Usif.

Voyeur Music Radio Show #003 - Maga

Last week, Métron Musik Mixtape 022 reached it’s finale with a beautiful collaboration between Kaleema and Lido Pimienta, two of my favourite South American artists. That was a passing of the torch for this weeks mix, as Columbian born Toronto resident Lido Pimienta is at the reigns of Métron Musik Mixtape 023, a fascinating exploration of vocal styles from around the globe. The singer, producer, visual artist and curator made a massive impact on me with her own vocal performances featuring on tracks alongside the incomparable Chancha Via Circuito (her performance on ‘Jardines’ is particularly magnificent). I was later to discover her solo record ‘Color’ which was released back in 2010 and showcases her unique talents as a solo artist. I was delighted when I was able to speak with her and thrilled that Lido wanted to contribute a mixtape to the series.

Pimienta is clearly an artist fascinated with the human voice, and this is certainly evident as she treats us to a raucous array of vocal performances in her Métron Musik Mixtape. Tribal chants from a range of cultural backgrounds are interspersed with modern electronica, bass, folklore, vocal spots from Lido herself and eventually culminating in a powerful A Capella rendition of her new track Agua from the forthcoming ‘La Papessa’ LP.  I can’t say that I’ve heard a mix quite like it.

Further to her musical work Lido is a fervent supporter of women in technology and arts, a passionate voice promoting her Latin heritage, and somebody who takes a keen interest in the local music and art scene in Toronto. She’s also a talented visual artist and was keen to produce the artwork to pair with her mixtape - a beautiful illustration from her ‘Flower Girl’ series (you can read more about this in her fascinating Q&A with us).

Wie und wann seid ihr zur Elektronischen Musik gekommen?

- Bei Lars kam die Findung zur elektronischen Musik nach seiner Zeit als Hip Hop Dj im Jahr 2003. Andi kam 2009 zur elektronischen Musik nachdem er lange Jahre als Drummer in Bands spielte.
 
Welche Musikalischen Momente sind euch besonders in Erinnerung geblieben?

- Da gibt es so einige tolle Momente auf die wir zurückblicken können. Wir hatten unzählige schöne Gigs bei denen wir immer riesig Spaß haben 😉

Wer unseren Podcast kennt, der weiß, dass wir mit eben diesem nur einen Anspruch genügen wollen: Qualität. Und mehrfach haben wir schon bewiesen, dass es dafür nicht zwingend eines großen Namens bedarf, sondern auch bei der gewaltigen Gruppe der weniger bekannten Künstler viele talentierte dabei sind.
