🗯🗯 Verwendest du neue Technologie oder bist du eher klassisch unterwegs? 🗯🗯

Ich habe 2007 ganz klassisch mit TTs angefangen, mich dann eine Zeitlang mit CD-Mappen rumgeschlagen (auf denen ich meine eigene Schrift nicht lesen konnte). Inzwischen bin ich dankbar für USB-Sticks und ein Minimal-Setup. I travel light.

🗯🗯 Was vermisst du seit März 2020 ganz besonders? 🗯🗯

Die Musik war ja nie weg. Aber egal wie lange oder laut du zu Hause oder auf Kopfhörern drehst, du hast nicht das Gefühl wie im Club oder Open Air, dass der Sound dich durchdringt und umgibt. Und natürlich die Menschen – in ganze Gesichter schauen, Emotionen sehen und mitfühlen.

🗯🗯 Hast du in der letzten Zeit etwas Neues gelernt? Neues Wissen, andere Inputs, neue Themen? 🗯🗯

Ich liebe es, Neues zu lernen. 2020 habe ich meine Yin-Yoga-Teaching-Skills vertieft, 2021 habe ich mich in Scrum und agilen Methoden weitergebildet. Mein Mann hat mir einen E-Bass geschenkt, aber ich übe nicht so gewissenhaft wie er Gitarre, leider. So werden wir natürlich keine Band ;)

These are all things which float our boat here at Ransom Note headquarters, that's why this next mix comes in the form of a magnificent duo from Belgium with whom we have developed a fascination in recent times. Asa Moto is the pairing of Gilles Noë & Oliver Geerts - together they make abstract dance and electronic music with a deep, warped personality which always leaves you wanting more. Their music has been heavily championed on DEEWEE, the mysterious imprint run by Soulwax. Most recently the pair have released the "Playtime" EP which is an exotic, sweeping collection of intriguing lyrics and woozy synth workouts.

… this will be your new favourite swarm of tracks, you will be observing in your own ears. Cause it's the whistling warm embrace for your new day and it's a mix by a music-fascinated girl, who's in love with every sexual attraction she carries within towards birds and flowers as same as towards tingling or heavy bass-lines.

It's AUFSCHNITT #25 with a huge and special episode sent by Miss Take, marking the quarter century among all this non-dancefloor mixes inside this project, that I can present to all of you!

Another episode that's also focussing on empowering and supporting a lady, who's loving music so deeply. Whether she's showing up in a Club or in this mix, she's juggling very balanced with seriousness, joy, epicness and also some comedy inside her selections. Balance that comes from even standing on only one toe, straightening the insides towards the illumining sky, centralizing the breath and being held by ones own wings.

As the intro says, human being might not be able to hear those beautiful chantings by the birds in its high frequencies, she probably does. Those sounds of chirping and twittering are such an important part of the tracks being held inside here. A story not only told by this small creatures but by a bunch of vocalists, offering their words to beats from Indie, Synth', Reggae and Alternative Rock.

Catch Miss Take on a dance-floor and you will find her spreading young and feminine power in her mixes taking care of tracks from Electro, R'n'B or Trap.

And also on those dance-floors she will never loose her soul or this warm feeling of blooming, which this mix evokes by always finding it's peace between a fresh melancholy, upcoming hope and a slightly punching feeling of Wanderlust. Be ready for a journey you want to experience again and again and again and again...

… and as I learned from her: Always keep your eyes open.

Obviously, I'm so glad to have this mix inside the series and

ich bin moritz kaiser. ich lege musik auf, von der ich inzwischen glaube, dass es eigentlich pop ist. das darf man aber so nicht sagen, weil sonst keiner kommt. also sage ich immer ich spiele techno um dann weit auszuholen und zu erklären, dass das für mich alles ist was sich zwischen 808 und 909 bewegt. ich bin über die jahre hinweg immer langsamer geworden. so von 130 auf 123 bpm. aber angeblichsoll es egal sein wie langsam man ist, solange man nicht stehen bleibt. ich bin exil-magdeburger und wohne seit ein paar jahren in leipzig. wenn ich irgendwo anders bin merke ich immer wie sauwohl ich mich in der stadt hier fühle. besonders mag ich die vielen kaputten led-anzeigen an den haltestellen. dysfunktionalität ist so mein ding. ich war einer von denen, die die palette700 gemacht haben und hab neuerdings eine großartige crew hinter mir die sich IO schimpft und nur aus piekfeinen gestalten besteht. hoffentlich wirft uns irgendwann mal jemand vor wir wären ein elitärer haufen. ich hatte früher mal so eine ponyfrisur, jetzt aber nicht mehr und darum erkennen mich die leute nicht mehr und fragen mich wann moritz kaiser anfängt. ich lache dann nicht sondern schaue betreten auf den boden, wobei mir auffällt, dass ich schon wieder zwei verschiedene socken anhabe. mehr gibt es dazu eigentlich nicht zu sagen.
