Bio:
Four Hands – this is Alex and Marcel.
Grown up in Mainz, Germany, Alex has found his passion for music quite early. Starting with the piano he has decided to swap it for two record players and a mixing console at the age of 15. From 2004 until 2009 he has been a successful solo artist playing his techy sound in various clubs.
In 2013 Alex has met Marcel and it soon turned out that they are sharing more than just the same employer. The joy and passion for electronical sounds was the reason for starting to engage in music intensely again.
As a start they set up the event series KOMISCH WANDERN in summer 2014 in Frankfurt/Offenbach. Until today they have welcomed famous artists like Tube&Berger, Monkey Safari, Finnebassen, Kellerkind, and many more and of course they have played the show themselves as Four Hands. At the first event they have still played separately but it soon evolved into a joint project. From now on their deep electronical style is featured not only by the use of two but four hands. Outside of Frankfurt’s club scene the two DJs got well-established especially on SoundCloud. None other than famous SOLOMUN (Diynamic) has supported the boys and played their track „Darwin“ on big festivals like BPM in Mexico. „Darwin“ will be released in March 2017 on the Label JEAHMON!.

Influenced by the early years he focused on exploring and experimenting with sounds in order to learn by experience. Nowadays his sound is conducted by warm pads and unpolished groove structures. Moritz' DJ sets can be described as underground adapted, unconstrained by ordinary directives. In his liveset he creates an unprecedented degree of atmosphere and coincident dynamism.
