Founded in 2003 by Henning Ulseth of ex Forlorn and Steffen Simenstad of ex Gehenna. Several years would pass before the band stabilized in 2009. During this period the band recorded 3 demos and played a couple of local shows. 

From 2010 the band made and rehearsed music for the next demo - HEKSAKUNST - However, as luck would have it, the recording studio wanted to release the demo and so the band teams up with Epilogue Production and releases the EP HEKSAKUNST.

During discussions with Epilogue and management the band decided to put off touring the EP and instead focus on making a full length album. After a successfull release party for HEKSAKUNST Mörkemen went back into the rehearsal mode...

February 2012 Mörkemen embarks on recording their debut album at Epilogue Production with producer Morten Hvidsten...
