Noir Music favourite Olivier Giacomotto blesses us with another stunning EP on Noir Music and this time he teamed up with legendary Kiko who has been one of France biggest underground names for years where he has been djing and producing music since 1990.
2 true talents put their minds together and give us this excellent 2-tracker. Beautiful Place is the melodic and dark track that picks up nicely from Olivier Giacomotto's recent success “Bipolar Star”. Reckless is pure club heaven with its straight up and relentless groove. Classic floor functional stuff to keep the dancefloor's burning.

Drop It! is the new exciting EP from Barcelona based Pablo Bolivar, known from his solo material on labels like Avantroots as well as his side-project Pulshar on Desolat. To celebrate this grand EP, we have also re-designed our artwork from upcoming young venezuelan designer Georgina Maldera. 

On his new EP for Galaktika Pablo Bolivar delivers a true headnodding experience with Drop It! - Mesmerising chords coupled with the skippy beat programming and neat arrangement makes this a perfect jam for warm up sessions as well as peak hour action. 

On remix tip we have no other than techno legend John Tejada straight from LA. Mr Tejada takes a tougher drum beat and makes one of his masterly executed reworks with added, dark vocals and a durable acidic groove which will undoubtedly find itｴs place on lots of playlists. 

Additionally he delivers a 2nd Remix which takes a firm grip on the bass, dropping more dubbed out keys and a darker overall vibe. We can not decide which remix we like more, both are outstanding! 

To close the EP Bolivar delivers the delicately driving Question Of Time.

2014 saw Steyoyoke Recordings put the finishing touches to their artist roster and the label is now experiencing an ongoing creative continuum, bringing Steyoyoke to its current state of musical solidarity. ‘Family Affair Vol.04’ is a testament to this, as it provokes new inspiring ways for the artists to inspire and influence each other. Split across two separate releases, Part 1 and Part 2, “Family Affair Vol.04’ comprises of 9 remixes, which sees all the Steyoyoke artists adding their own personal flavours to some of 2014’s biggest tracks.

Part 1.
Soul Button’s remix of ‘First Glimpse’ by Aki Bergen is the curtain raiser. Possessing a little more energy than the original, this remix boasts an alluring new intensity and vibe. It is captivating and uplifting.
Next up, is Aaryon’s remix of Soul Button & Talul’s ‘Chasing Thoughts’. Building upon the intricate layers already existing within the original, Aaryon intertwines edgier synth flurries and a more sinister bass line.
‘Hydra’ by Animal Picnic is remixed by Nick Devon, who chooses to focus on the originals unyielding drive. Nick really draws out the true ruthlessness of this track, with techno influences infiltrating this remix from start to finish.
Dahu takes on the remix of Aki Bergen’s ‘Helix’ and he customises it with some menacing elements. He does however maintain the originals “raw minimal techno groove” and garnishes this with industrial style accents.
The final track on Part 1 is Ran Salman’s version of ‘7th Heaven’ by Soul Button. Opting for a slightly punchier sound, Ran enlivens his remix by incorporating a few extra synth riffs and a bouncer bass line.
