DXN aka Dan Cross is the founder of Tegleg Records. He is also an electronic music producer and sound artist. He has also produced several short films. Often compared to Plaid and Autechre his sound is melodic, glitchy, complex, dark and uplifting with emphasis on texture and subtle emotive atmosphere, ranging from Warp/Rephlex Records style Braindance to more experimental soundscapes. MyOneManBand is a unique performer in Hull, as you never quite know what to expect...

"MyOneManBand in its latest incarnation revolves around a very specific paradigm, as always the music is all live and all created by myself, from a blank canvas and in real-time in front of the audience. What is new is that each performance is now also written and arranged there and then, on the spot, using a technique I have called “instinct composition”.

The only premeditation that I allow myself before a show is in the selection of speech samples that will underpin the thematic variance of the individual songs along with a predisposition to a certain selection of instruments and therefore an abridged palette of sounds, although this in itself is more often then not dictated by setup-time and available transportation of my equipment then any real auditory process of elimination."... abeZilla is one of the founding members of <morph>, and has been producing music for 11 years. He has support around the world, and has been done work for DJ Anuxa's show The Grind (Canada) and a live session for BBC Radio Humberside. Alongside co-ordinating <morph>, and producing his own material, he also does remixes and his side project "Copyright Infringement" is the home for the less legitimate ones, and runs his record label, oblviioustoeverything.records

As much as we'd love to follow you all back, we've hit the block of 2000 follows, so please accept our apologies...

On 3rd April 2011, something happened that involved two electronic musicians,
Facebook, and a good idea.
The musicians: abeZilla and AppleMax
The idea: to put on a gig showcasing local live electronic music.

How to do this and organise it: Facebook...
...a couple of days later and we had enough people to play quite a few gigs...

<morph>ONE took place on May 1st, at the legendary Adelphi in Hull, and was well receieved which has led us to organise more events, with a diverse selection of electronic music acts taking to the stage everytime.

In addition, and to showcase the talent we have on the scene here in Hull, I decided to
record some podcasts, which will be made available soon
