We've had a few people ask me what the original version of Asuka is (not) Dead sounded like before Cardinal Noire did that amazing remix of it. So.. Here ya go!!

Incidentally (in case it wasn't obvious by the art we used) the song is inspired by the character Asuka Langley Soryu from Neon Genesis Evangelion. The series is one of Arvin's favorites. We kind of wrote it from her point of view- the dichotomy of appearing overly confident on the outside, but being a self loathing mess on the inside.

Asuka Is (not) Dead- original mix

Our first venture in creating the opening titles for a horror film. It ended up having the feel of a 1970's film score with IDM elements.

Not the usual Morpheus Laughing track. In fact this about as far as a departure as we could get, however we were VERY inspired by The new Travis Scott record "Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight" So... we decided to do a bit of a tribute to the album. It really blew us both away, and we hope you dig this as much as we do.
