This mix is largely inspired by (and suitable for) Jivamukti Yoga, my personal yoga practice journey and teachers who accompanied me throughout the past year and longer, mostly via screens; leaving a huge impact on me nonetheless. 

It was created with an intention to be used as a soundtrack of a Jivamukti (or any other, for that matter) Yoga class, but it can certainly be used for other occasions - lovemaking, for example - if I may suggest one. 

Escalating rather quickly, the kick-off is designed to motivate you to dive into sun salutations without delay and hesitation. 

Percussive continuation is there to elevate you during the standing sequences; eventual transition into slower, deeper beats supports the sitting sequences. 

Mind bending sound journey that ultimately translates into Tibetan chant will hopefully make your savasana worthwhile.

Artwork is a digitalised version of a painting from my grandfather's Masks collection (yes there is more of this freaky stuff).

Something imperfect that exists

A mixtape born into the world of paradox - bold, cheeky and playful but fluid and flowing; dreamy and deep but unexpected and weird; a story that tells itself through contradictions, by brainlessly (but fearlessly) navigating fluctuating nature of emotions, eventually arriving to inevitable self-acceptance.

The only constant in Morta Mor’s word is change, not only in terms of lifestyle but also in terms of music selection. Musically raised by Berlin’s club and festival culture, Morta further draws inspiration from her nomadic lifestyle, which results in trippy genre-bending eclectic curations as she is constantly on the lookout for strange groovy sounds, weird vocal loops, captivating beats and twisted percussions. 

Beyond music itself, Morta Mor is on a mission to bring inclusion and diversity to electronic music dance floors by attempting to represent more female, queer and POC productions in her DJ sets.

Morta Mor isn’t new to electronic music despite being a newcomer to DJing - she has been part of the scene for the past 10 years as a professional party and festival goer, curator, producer and promoter. She has brought holistic & artistic experiences to festivals like Garbicz Festival, Moyn Moyn Festival, The Imaginarium and organised events in locations such as Berlin, Paris, Los Angeles, Tulum and Vilnius, among many others.

The Imaginarium is a unique pearl gleaming within the beautiful galaxy of Lithuanian festivals. Super small in size, yet abundant in beauty of all kinds, the festival is – first and foremost – about the joy of the creation process. This is an essential aspect of human growth that is often overlooked during modern-day events.

Pretty Much tribe nurtures a culture of support, mutual creation, and skill-sharing. With every third person of the community having learned how to use the DJ decks, it was only natural to take a step forward into music production. This is how five producers were paired with six beginners to go on a unique musical journey together for this compilation of six tracks. Each of them explores the idea of connectedness since the main theme of The Imaginarium VII was about transforming aloneness into oneness.

We believe that genuine and meaningful connections are what every human being truly seeks. The question then is: what if some of the energy put into hyping up people with big names was redirected into fostering co-creation? How much is it possible for a person to become more authentic & open up due to the environment?

To answer this, Pretty Much tribe has built a utopian village, where everyone is called by their name. An idealistic culture that values sharing over commerce. A space where every individual can bask in the sun of imagination by playing an important part in the collective. Get inspired to give in to oneness by immersing yourself in the ripples of ‘Echoes of The Imaginarium VII’.

Blast from the past: a sweaty Friday night closing of the Mirage stage at Bucht der Träumer 2023. I took over after @zombiesinmiami and kept the energy rolling —what was meant to be a a two-hour set stretched into three hours of house-fueled hangar heat as I covered for @dj-dasco that unfortunately got sick and couldn't make it. Big love to the dedicated dancers who kept it alive ’til the end—you know who you are.

Morta Mor is a DJ, Producer & Professional Weirdo. 

The only constant in Morta Mor’s world is change—a philosophy that extends to her lifestyle, music, and artistic evolution. 

Her eclectic sound is all about the weird, the sassy, and the trippy, with a unifying thread of groove-driven house music, designed to make people dance.

Morta’s performances are narratives crafted with intention, blending empowerment with a touch of self-irony and sophisticated silliness. Amplifying the voices of women, queer, and POC producers, every set tells a story of connection, inclusion, and self-expression.

Morta Mor has performed at a variety of renowned venues, clubs and festivals including Renate and Klunkerkranich in Berlin, Maison Balkii in Geneva, Kablys Club, Youngs Club, Opera Social House and Love Bar in Vilnius, Saules Baras and Zuikio Darzas in Nida, Lithuania; as well as festivals such as Bucht der Träumer, Yaga Gathering, and The Imaginarium. 

In 2023, the release of Morta’s first track marked the beginning of her foray into music production—a path she eagerly continues to explore with new projects underway.
