Born in Tehran,  Mortez started art in many forms at a young age as a passionate hobby. Mortez studied at school in a mathematical and physics stream, and studied electrical engineering during his Bachelors and Masters.

During his studies, he composed many peices of music passionately, painted many paintings, and developed ideas for stories. Mortez is first officially published in 2012, while his music has been available underground. Mortez moved to Canada in 2008, and despite all the problems, managed to do all of his engineering and art tasks. The last quarter of 2012 marks the point when art by Mortez is shared in public.
