France-based Sierra Leonean rapper Mos-B has released a single titled ‘Vaccinate’. The track is available for streaming and download across major digital platforms.

‘Vaccinate’ is a follow up to his 2020 record ‘War Against Corona’. It was written and produced by Mos-B with final productions by Panash of Shockwave Music in Zimbabwe and seeks to encourage people to get vaccinated against COVID-19.

“I encourage Africans and the rest of the world to vaccinate,” Mos-B told Music In Africa. “The inspiration came from a British friend behind the Spratley Charity Foundation and a call from a Sierra Leonean radio broadcaster who called me to suggest that I do a song encouraging Sierra Leoneans and Africans to vaccinate. The song style I chose this time is funk and there is a little touch of African sounds.”

Mos-B noted that he was unhappy with the rollout of vaccines in Africa. “I feel like Africans are not taking the vaccination too serious,” he said.

“In 2020 I released the coronavirus song because I knew Africans were in denial or did not believe it's real. After the release, BBC interviewed me and I received a lot of feedback from Africans thanking me for the brilliant message.”

Throughout his career, Mos-B has released successful singles such as ‘Traveller’, ‘Voices of the Wind’, ‘Bell of Freedom’ and ‘Back to My Roots and Culture’. He is also known for his 2018 album New Chapter.

*Mos B among first global musicians to record a Corona sensitisation song*

As the Coronavirus continues to hit the world, a France-based Sierra Leonean pop star, Joseph Amos Bangura aka Mos-B has just released a sensitisation and inspirational song about the deadly virus that has already hit over 70 countries across the world. The song is titled, 'War Against Corona'. This great musician feels it is imperative on him to use his voice to spread out words of caution and hope to the world during this challenging period.

In his first verse Mos-B said,
"The world has been tested, one more time again"
"I know we will win this global war, we have faith in WHO,United Nations and UNICEF,
"We will win..."

He also noted that "we living in a global village, it doesn't matter where you're from..."

The song is produced by Mos-B, mixed by a professional engineer in Switzerland, and violins by a talented Moroccan. Mos B is currently working on the video of the song, which he says 'will be available soon.'

Mos B was on his musical tour in Sierra Leone, Guinea and France earlier this year. He was also a recipient of couple of awards and recognitions from several institutions.

His latest song on the current global epidemic has placed him among highly rated superstars to educate people around the world about the virus.

The Sierra Leonean pop star  Mos B has released his new song titled ‘The Bell of Freedom’ with a classic video. The song was done by Mos B, who is also the composer, mix engineer by James Vital, The song is a pop & rock fusion with virtual contributions from their various homes.
‘The Bell of Freedom’ is a song which gives hope that the world will soon come out from lockdown or prison due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Mos B told this media that “most people across the world are devastated for being locked at home for a couple of months or weeks.”
“All is not lost”, he said, “the storm will be over soon.”

Mos-B has currently released a Coronavirus sensitisation song titled – ‘War Against Corona’ when the outbreak initially occurs, making him the first internationally known musician to do so. He was later interviewed on the BBC Focus On Africa program where he told the world that Coronavirus is a war and a threat to human lives.

Mos-B is a creative and highly talented song writer, performing
artist and entertainer. He has tour with Dutch's most famous Musician, Trijntje Oosterhuis. 2004 and 2006 for 20,000 People. He was born in Sierra Leone to a musical mother and
grew up with a deep thirst for making music. From his mother he learnt
traditional songs and listening a lot from the radio. He started making music and writing songs using drums, cups and
such household utensils. He became obsessed with the guitar from the very
first time he was exposed to one. To learn to play the guitar became
everything to him.
