How did I become a DiscJockey? I believe it all started while going through my uncle's and grandparent's record collection in search of fun sounds at a very young age. The music was merely classical and Latin folk. Seeing the record spinning was hypnotic! 

At the age of 19 I bought my first pair of Technics 1200s and started beat matching Drum & Bass and Electro records while living on a sail-boat in San Francisco CA, worked at a record distributor, graffed walls and partied at raves since I was underage and wasn't allowed in clubs which pushed me to polish my Dj skills!

Decades later my record collection has expanded, looking for interesting sounds.
When I Dj I like to have fun while keeping it fresh and fun.  My mixes go from funk to cumbia to  house to soul to minimal techno to rock, why not? if it works on the crowd and is done well, jam on it!

I've performed in Mexico City, Berlin, Amsterdam, Los Angeles and all over New York City, at crazy loft parties, roof tops, bars, art galleries, lounges, basements, fashion events and beach parties. As well as The Soho House NY, Ace Hotel NY, Hotel Americano NY and art museums such as the Guggenheim Museum, The Queens Museum & El Museo del Barrio in NYC. 

I also co-hosted a weekly music show called "Clandestino" on a web-radio station (wtnr) in NYC 2005-2006.
