I first heard this when I was watching the beautifully directed, dark/black-comedy flick "The Boondock Saints" about two fraternal Irish twins raging a personal vendetta against Boston's underworld and a brilliant closeted homosexual detective played by the ever entertaining Willem Dafoe. Was hooked instantly :D

Introduced in 2009, “Live From The Shop,” invites fans to live, monthly performances Thursday nights at The MOSCOT Orchard Street Gallery & Music Space on Manhattan’s famed Lower East Side. In a neighborhood historically renown for live music, The MOSCOT Gallery provides a rare opportunity for fans and musicians to interact before, during and after the show, as no “seat” is more than 10’ from the stage. 

“Saturday Sessions,” held Saturday afternoons in The Backyard at MOSCOT’s Court Street Shop, brings live music outdoors all summer long. Fans can kick back and relax while enjoying a truly local experience in the heart of Brooklyn’s historic Cobble Hill neighborhood. 

“Live From The Shop” and “Saturday Sessions” are free events*, and open to the public**, with free beer and/or wine for guests ages 21 and older. During the event, MOSCOT Eyewear is offered to fans at a 20% discount***, with 10% of the proceeds benefitting the Company’s charity, The MOSCOT Mobileyes Foundation. Past performers have included such artists as Theophilus London, Brett Dennen, Hellogoodbye, Nick Waterhouse, Myles Kennedy, Matt Heafy, Nicole Atkins, Lucius, Liam Finn, French Horn Rebellion, X Ambassadors, K.Flay, The Pizza Underground, Twin Forks, and Mike Doughty.
