“Yamba”, the collaborative track from Mose and Yemanjo featuring Malian singer Mariam Koné, receives diverse reworks from three of the most respected producers of afro house music today.

The original combines emotive chords, rhythmic guitar and balafon melodies and shimmering percussion with Koné’s powerful voice to create a powerful fusion of West African traditional music with cutting-edge electronics.

Mollono.Bass, label head and legendary selector in the Berlin scene for decades, lends his unique touch with a silky rework staying true to the mood of the original, while adding his own percussion and synth elements to fashion a more contemplative version.  He achieves a sophisticated fusion of melodic and afro house here that is sure to please fans of both genres.

OVEOUS is a NYC-based DJ, producer and poet making waves globally for his electrifying sets combining afro house with live vocals and poetry.  His remix pushes the drums and vocals front and center, creating a tribal version made for the dance floor.  Koné’s repeating call-and-response chorus brings a trance-like quality, while the amapiano-style bassline and relentless percussion supply an irresistible groove.

Beloved Los Angeles-based DJ and founder of the seminal Deep LA parties, Marques Wyatt is undoubtedly one of the most respected vibe-setters on the West Coast.  He delivers another standout version, making great use of the vocals and guitar melodies while adding hypnotic repeated synth lines that create cohesion through the whole track.

Taken together, the “Yamba” remix EP presents three distinct revisions of the original, each reflecting the diverse backgrounds of the artists and their approach. The central message of Koné’s words—an invitation to come together to dance and celebrate in brotherhood—shines through in each remix, and the collection is equally well suited for the club, festival stage, or ecstatic dance floor.

Released on Summer Solstice 2021 and born from three world-renowned artists from three continents, “Jai Shiva Shankar” is the incredible new single by Franko Heke, Monica Dogra, and Mose. Call it what you will — serendipity, magic, destiny — something special brought these three vanguard artists together to create this 6-minute dance mantra combination. When it comes to the fusion of these genres, this is a first for New Zealand native Franko Heke, who remarks, “Jai Shiva Shankar is a mantra that came to me on my travels through India and it represents Shiva the creator, protector and transformer of the universe. Shiva and Shakti represent the masculine and feminine that resides in us all.” It is in Bali where Franko met Monica Dogra, the Indian-American powerhouse vocalist who has released five albums with Mumbaikar electronic duo Shaa’ir and Func. 

Gorgeous harmonies between Heke and Dogra breathe spiritual energy into this mantra-driven composition. Underneath and interwoven through the vocals we hear haunting Indian flute, Egyptian drums, tabla, and oud. Guatemala-based ecstatic dance DJ and producer Mose transforms the grounded rhythm section into a series of tasty grooves that are indulgently danceable and beckon for movement. This well-balanced piece repeats the title mantra “Jai Shiva Shankar” alongside instrumental and vocal bridges that are ethereal and rich with emotional energy, revealing that Franko Heke, Monica Dogra, and Mose are the healing trifecta we didn’t know we needed this summer solstice.

This set was filmed on September 20th, 2021 to align with the full moon equinox energy. The set is totally improvised between Janax Pacha and I. I have a collection of loops that make up the ingredients of the different tracks that we move through with the timing and weaving of these loops being totally improvised based on the energy of each unfolding moment.  We had no plan for which songs to explore and just did our best to tune in and listen to what wanted to come through. You can see us communicating here and there just to establish the key of the track and the bpm - beyond that the conversation is just through feeling the vibes.

The island behind us is called Es Vedra and it has quite a mythology around it and a reputation for being one of the most potent vortex points on the earth. With the combination of all of these energies, this set was incredibly powerful for those few of us present for us. When we finished I felt like I was journeying with an entheogenic substance. This for me is a beautiful sign that we journeyed to deep places and opened ourselves as channels for something meaningful and hopefully transformational to come through us as musicians. I can only hope that this journey offers something of meaning to you in your current process.

Sam and I are overjoyed to share this new mix with you: “Open Up Your Heart”. This song was birthed while Sam and I were improvising during a live set. We have had many special opportunities to explore this improvisational space together and in this particular session, these simple yet profound lyrics landed through Sam and deeply touched me. I decided to follow the general idea and we developed it into this song. We then invited our dear sister Matia Kalli to offer her incredible vocals to the mix. It has been one of my favorites to share live over the last year in my sets all around the world. It’s incredible to see how it opens people up to receive more love as we drop deeper into the present moment together.

The name Amma, sung throughout, calls upon the creator of the stars in ancient Dogon tradition. As the melodies unfolded, it felt as though the ancestors stood beside us, whispering of a time when stars walked the Earth.
They spoke of a rising consciousness, the awakening of the feminine, and the power of movement as prayer.

We’re excited to share the full video of my recent set in Florianópolis, Brasil—now live on YouTube. This offering was especially close to my heart. My wife Bruna is from Brasil, and returning there to share music always feels like coming home. There’s something unmistakably powerful about the fiery, vibrant energy of this land and its people—it’s one of my favorite places to play in the world.

The set is infused with the pulse of Brasil, woven with many Brazilian songs that lit up the dance floor. From beginning to end, it was a celebration of connection, culture, and the power of music to bring us together. It has been the heartbeat starter of our live sets for the past six months. Everywhere we’ve played it, from Europe to the Americas, the people present have felt its medicine and called for its release - so here it is, the first single from our upcoming album Reverence.

The mantra Sita Ram holds profound relevance in today’s world. In a time when society is constantly pulling us outward into distraction, this chant draws us back inward into remembrance, into balance, into wholeness. Sita and Ram are not distant deities; they are archetypes of the divine feminine and masculine that live within all of us. Regardless of whether we are in a woman’s or a man’s body, Sita Ram reminds us that piece is born when we honour both energies inside ourselves and simply allow who we are to be.

This track is more than music. It is a prayer, a “Dance Meditation”, and an activation to help us realign with truth and love in 2025 and beyond.

The original combines emotive chords, rhythmic guitar and balafon melodies and shimmering percussion with Koné’s powerful voice to create a powerful fusion of West African traditional music with cutting-edge electronics.

Beloved Los Angeles-based DJ and founder of the seminal Deep LA parties, Marques Wyatt @marques-wyatt is undoubtedly one of the most respected vibe-setters on the West Coast.  He delivers another standout version, making great use of the vocals and guitar melodies while adding hypnotic repeated synth lines that create cohesion through the whole track.

Taken together, the “Yamba” remix EP presents three distinct revisions of the original, each reflecting the diverse backgrounds of the artists and their approach. The central message of Koné’s words—an invitation to come together to dance and celebrate in brotherhood—shines through in each remix, and the collection is equally well suited for the club, festival stage, or ecstatic dance floor.

We’re grateful to share “I Pray”, a new song created in collaboration with dear friends @frankoheke and @Heatherchristie. This song began as a simple prayer, channeled live in the moment during one of our sets; something honest and raw that came through in a moment of pure flow and inspiration. It’s a reminder to keep showing up with love, to keep hoping, and to keep holding each other through whatever life brings. Each line is a soft offering: to the earth, to the waters, to the silence, to the healing that’s needed in our hearts and in the world.

This was a live jam accompanied by the incredibly talented Suyana (@veerle-kumpen) performed for the beautiful people at Heart Culture Festival in Austria. None of this music was pre-arranged, I had groups of clips and created the arrangements out of those clips on the fly in response to the energy of the moment. The vibe was incredibly special, people really tuned in and offered us the opportunity to dive deep into experimentation and to let things flow effortlessly from the heart. This is a live recording of one of my favorite sets from the SunSet Cacao Dance's I played this season in Guatemala at Eagles Nest. The journey starts with a cacao ceremony and then begins with slower, spacious music. The energy builds slowly through the mix and peaks followed by a cool down towards the end as the energy comes back down. These sorts of sets are some of my favorites to play. This set also contains some of my unreleased tunes.

This is a recording of a very special set I played during the silent retreat I put on with my friend Randi. It was called Reflections and the concept is to explore the space of a silent retreat while exploring movement in the form of yoga and dance while being supported by music. It was an extremely potent experience for all of us and this set in particular reached new levels of depth. Sam and I collaborated live with loops coming from some of my slowest tracks. You will probably be familiar with some of them and others will be new but the journey itself is quite unique in that it was totally improvised and Sam's presence lifted the experience into a heavenly bliss. I hope you enjoy this as much as we enjoyed it live.

The SunSet Cacao Dance @ Eagle's Nest Atitlán is an ecstatic dance inspired community event guided by Mose on the shores of the majestic Lake Atitlán, Guatemala.

This is a live set filmed in December, 2019. The journey starts just before sunset with a simple cacao ceremony to set intentions and drop deeper into presence and inner silence. Cacao helps to open the heart and provides energy in the form of theobromine, literally meaning "food of the Gods". In honor of worldwide Ecstatic Dance guidelines, the group is led into a space of silence through the rest of the event with the intention to deepen the experience and allow each individual to connect more deeply inside while honing the ability to connect with others through eye contact and movement. The participants are asked to refrain from consuming any other substances and no alcohol is served with the intention to tap into deep states of consciousness without the need of hard drugs and the inebriation of alcohol. 

The music starts slowly to invite people into their bodies as they feel inspired, while allowing others to stay seated in meditation or contemplation. The music slowly builds through the experience and peaks with full ecstatic movement. The wave then washes over with a slower more spacious energy to drop deeper into spaciousness and introspection until finally ending lying on the ground with soft ambient music to hold the space for integration and grounding. 

There are many of us now all around the world who can attest to the depth of experience available to us on a dance floor surrounded by beautiful, free spirited, open hearted people. Combine that with the magic of cacao and breathtaking scenery and you have a recipe for magic.

*The normal guidelines include the prohibition of cameras and cell phones in the dance space to nurture a space of freedom and to let go of our need to document and share all of our experiences. For this particular event we made an exception in hopes to give a glimpse into this expansive world. 

About the Space:
Set near the shores of renowned Lake Atitlán (Guatemala), Eagle’s Nest is a distinguished intentional hosting space for events, retreats, residencies, community hosting, workshops & summits.  With a focus on movement arts (yoga, aerials, acrobatics, circus, dance) to foster well-being, guests are invited to explore, experiment and soar beyond!  Groups of up to 24 can be hosted on-site for retreats, whilst up to 200 participants for events.
