Released on Summer Solstice 2021 and born from three world-renowned artists from three continents, “Jai Shiva Shankar” is the incredible new single by Franko Heke, Monica Dogra, and Mose. Call it what you will — serendipity, magic, destiny — something special brought these three vanguard artists together to create this 6-minute dance mantra combination. When it comes to the fusion of these genres, this is a first for New Zealand native Franko Heke, who remarks, “Jai Shiva Shankar is a mantra that came to me on my travels through India and it represents Shiva the creator, protector and transformer of the universe. Shiva and Shakti represent the masculine and feminine that resides in us all.” It is in Bali where Franko met Monica Dogra, the Indian-American powerhouse vocalist who has released five albums with Mumbaikar electronic duo Shaa’ir and Func. 

Gorgeous harmonies between Heke and Dogra breathe spiritual energy into this mantra-driven composition. Underneath and interwoven through the vocals we hear haunting Indian flute, Egyptian drums, tabla, and oud. Guatemala-based ecstatic dance DJ and producer Mose transforms the grounded rhythm section into a series of tasty grooves that are indulgently danceable and beckon for movement. This well-balanced piece repeats the title mantra “Jai Shiva Shankar” alongside instrumental and vocal bridges that are ethereal and rich with emotional energy, revealing that Franko Heke, Monica Dogra, and Mose are the healing trifecta we didn’t know we needed this summer solstice.

This set was filmed on September 20th, 2021 to align with the full moon equinox energy. The set is totally improvised between Janax Pacha and I. I have a collection of loops that make up the ingredients of the different tracks that we move through with the timing and weaving of these loops being totally improvised based on the energy of each unfolding moment.  We had no plan for which songs to explore and just did our best to tune in and listen to what wanted to come through. You can see us communicating here and there just to establish the key of the track and the bpm - beyond that the conversation is just through feeling the vibes.

The island behind us is called Es Vedra and it has quite a mythology around it and a reputation for being one of the most potent vortex points on the earth. With the combination of all of these energies, this set was incredibly powerful for those few of us present for us. When we finished I felt like I was journeying with an entheogenic substance. This for me is a beautiful sign that we journeyed to deep places and opened ourselves as channels for something meaningful and hopefully transformational to come through us as musicians. I can only hope that this journey offers something of meaning to you in your current process.

Scott Nice takes this fan favorite collaboration of Sam Garrett and Mose into the sexy ethereal realms with his emotive interpretation of Om Ganesha. This was one of my favorite sets from the summer. We started with a simple cacao ceremony to set intention and open the container for a deep dive inside. The set starts slow and builds to ecstatic moments joined by a full range of live collaboration, all improvised in the moment. In the summer of 2023, the ADA Tribe and Mose came together in Montenegro for a transformative week-long festival called Ada Divine Awakening. 

The event, not just a festival but a transformative journey, is designed to guide participants through inner landscapes and facilitate profound spiritual transformation. It was a celestial experience that invited everyone to dance their prayers and co-create a new world. 

This unique event culminated in a memorable live set by Mose featuring Murray Kyle’s soulful melodies complemented by the enchanting sounds of Joseph Pepe Danza and impeccable spoken poetry by Oren Harris.

The festival's closing sun:set, captured in the film, opens with a heartfelt cacao ceremony led by Bruna Bortolato, signifying a collective ritual of gratitude, intention-setting, and unity. 

As the music flows and the sun dips below the horizon, the spirit of ADA becomes palpable, weaving through the air as the participants move to the rhythms and beats. 

This is more than a performance - a spiritual embrace, a shared dance that blurs the boundaries between the self and the collective. 

The film encapsulates the profound connection, where each step becomes a prayer and each dance a moment of co-creating a brighter future. 

It's an invitation to witness and feel the magic that made this festival an emotional odyssey, resonating with the spirit of the New Earth.

“Condorcito, Águila” is a prayer of remembrance that we are incarnated onto this incredible planet during a time of prophecy. Originally channeled by @brielle-murch, this song has been alchemized into a sacred dance anthem in celebration of the prophecy of the Eagle and the Condor. It is the first single from the upcoming collaborative album from Mose, releasing on 11/11.

The ancient Incan eagle condor prophecy speaks of a time where the eagle of North America and the condor of South America will fly together in the sky, restoring harmony and balance on the earth. We are in a time of bridging worlds, cultures, philosophies, religions as we re-create the new ancestral earth.

This song is to remind us that we are the bridge, we are the medicine and the regeneration is happening now through us. The prophecy begins with our inner work of balancing the masculine and feminine energies in our hearts, minds and bodies. It actualizes with the way we live and walk in the world, giving and receiving and being in reciprocity with all we do and say and are. What an honor to be the ones! “Al Contemplar” is a new collaboration between @mosemusica and Chilean multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, and producer @gallardomusica. This song delves into the deep wisdom that can be found in the rhythms of life and the universe. It serves as a reminder to pause, listen, and reflect on the signs we receive on our journey, teaching us that every step brings guidance, not necessarily to where we want to be, but to where we need to be. We are excited to announce the release of Mose's latest remix of "Hanbleceya" by @omer-gonen-haela. This track is a profound synthesis of prayerful, intentional songwriting and dance production, designed to support healing and deepen the awakening process for listeners and dancers alike. Omer's prayerful vocals are enriched by a powerful Lakota chant, anchoring the energy of the vision quest from which this track was born. "Hanbleceya is the vision quest. It is in the language of the Lakota tribe and it means ‘crying for a vision'. The song was written on the 4th day of a vision quest as I was alone, weary, thirsty, and broken," Omer explains.

"As the words came to me, I carved them with a knife on a rock, singing them again and again, shaping this melody that filled me with strength and joy. It was a prayer connecting me to the simplicity and beauty of life." One of Omer's favorite lines in the song is "In this great loneliness, we are learning to be together," and this collaboration with Mose brings a grounded dimension to these words. Now, people will be dancing together to the beat of the words that came to him in the loneliness of that moment on the mountain. This remix invites everyone to join in a communal dance that honors the profound journey self enquiry and the deep connection this foster within us and with one another.

So excited to release my full filmed set from Texas Eclipse gathering last year. This is the first DJ set I have posted in quite some time. It includes some of my tracks, along with some of my favorite ones I have been playing over the last year. The energy was so special leading in to the full solar eclipse the following day. The crowd was so appreciative and present, it was one of my highlights of 2024 and now I get to share it with you!

This was a live jam accompanied by the incredibly talented Suyana (@veerle-kumpen) performed for the beautiful people at Heart Culture Festival in Austria. None of this music was pre-arranged, I had groups of clips and created the arrangements out of those clips on the fly in response to the energy of the moment. The vibe was incredibly special, people really tuned in and offered us the opportunity to dive deep into experimentation and to let things flow effortlessly from the heart. This is a live recording of one of my favorite sets from the SunSet Cacao Dance's I played this season in Guatemala at Eagles Nest. The journey starts with a cacao ceremony and then begins with slower, spacious music. The energy builds slowly through the mix and peaks followed by a cool down towards the end as the energy comes back down. These sorts of sets are some of my favorites to play. This set also contains some of my unreleased tunes.

This is a recording of a very special set I played during the silent retreat I put on with my friend Randi. It was called Reflections and the concept is to explore the space of a silent retreat while exploring movement in the form of yoga and dance while being supported by music. It was an extremely potent experience for all of us and this set in particular reached new levels of depth. Sam and I collaborated live with loops coming from some of my slowest tracks. You will probably be familiar with some of them and others will be new but the journey itself is quite unique in that it was totally improvised and Sam's presence lifted the experience into a heavenly bliss. I hope you enjoy this as much as we enjoyed it live.

Lake Atitlán, Guatemala is the devotional cauldron from which both The Hanuman Project and Mose have cultivated their own unique sound. This land is a gathering point for seekers, singers and dancers from around the world who come in reverence and celebration of this blessed life. It was here in 2015, on the shores of Lake Atitlán that Patita Pavana Das, founding member of the project, and Mose met and the brotherhood was sealed. Years later this convergence has manifest the release of a ground-breaking collaborative Kirtan infused dance track. Also featuring the sweet and powerful vocals of longtime Hanuman Project member and vocalist, Matia Kalli, Radhe 54 is sure to get bodies moving and hearts opening. Bridging worlds through Kirtan and Dance, Organic and Electronic, this fusion is a hypnotic and unforgettable journey, calling out lovingly and powerfully to Sri Radhe.

Om Ganesha is an original adaptation created by Sam Garrett and his beautiful partner Mollie Mendoza. It features the guitar and vocals of Sam as well as supporting vocals and harmonium from Mollie. This track invites the energy of Ganesha - energy to remove obstacles and clear our path forward. 

This track is part of a 4 track series called Elements, due to release in it's entirety on April 22nd.

‘Elements’ represents a fresh and innovative concept in creating and sharing music as a devotional practice. The fruit of this E.P. has been seeded through a magical constellation of friends, drawn together from the 4 corners of the world. Cura Corazón is a beautiful heart opening offering of Matia Kalli, one of the lead members of The Hanuman Project, woven with the delicate production of Mose. The SunSet Cacao Dance @ Eagle's Nest Atitlán is an ecstatic dance inspired community event guided by Mose on the shores of the majestic Lake Atitlán, Guatemala.

This is a live set filmed in December, 2019. The journey starts just before sunset with a simple cacao ceremony to set intentions and drop deeper into presence and inner silence. Cacao helps to open the heart and provides energy in the form of theobromine, literally meaning "food of the Gods". In honor of worldwide Ecstatic Dance guidelines, the group is led into a space of silence through the rest of the event with the intention to deepen the experience and allow each individual to connect more deeply inside while honing the ability to connect with others through eye contact and movement. The participants are asked to refrain from consuming any other substances and no alcohol is served with the intention to tap into deep states of consciousness without the need of hard drugs and the inebriation of alcohol. 

The music starts slowly to invite people into their bodies as they feel inspired, while allowing others to stay seated in meditation or contemplation. The music slowly builds through the experience and peaks with full ecstatic movement. The wave then washes over with a slower more spacious energy to drop deeper into spaciousness and introspection until finally ending lying on the ground with soft ambient music to hold the space for integration and grounding. 

There are many of us now all around the world who can attest to the depth of experience available to us on a dance floor surrounded by beautiful, free spirited, open hearted people. Combine that with the magic of cacao and breathtaking scenery and you have a recipe for magic.

*The normal guidelines include the prohibition of cameras and cell phones in the dance space to nurture a space of freedom and to let go of our need to document and share all of our experiences. For this particular event we made an exception in hopes to give a glimpse into this expansive world. 

About the Space:
Set near the shores of renowned Lake Atitlán (Guatemala), Eagle’s Nest is a distinguished intentional hosting space for events, retreats, residencies, community hosting, workshops & summits.  With a focus on movement arts (yoga, aerials, acrobatics, circus, dance) to foster well-being, guests are invited to explore, experiment and soar beyond!  Groups of up to 24 can be hosted on-site for retreats, whilst up to 200 participants for events.
