Kei te mōhio koe ki ērā pō e komuhumuhu ana koe: «Kei te noho te Atua? Kei hea Ia ina pōuri katoa?»

Ko tēnei waiata mōu.

Ka kōrero mō te tūtakinga ka huri i ngā mea katoa:
He tangata kei te pito o tōna kaha e noho ana i runga tūru i te pāka i te tōnga o te rā. Roimata. He pātai kotahi: «Kōrero mai… kei te noho te Atua?»

Ka tae mai te whakautu mārie, ki tonu i te tūmanako:
«Kāore te Atua i tawhiti. Kei roto i a koe.
Ko Ihu te Ara – whakapono mai ki ahau.»

Ihu Karaiti Whakatipuranga KI he nui ake i te ingoa.
He karanga ki tō tātou whakatipuranga:
Ka taea e te mātauranga hangai te huri i te ao, engari kāore e taea te whakataurite ki te māramatanga pono o te ngākau.
Ka karanga a Ihu ki a tātou kia hoki ki te pūtake – aroha, rangimārie, tika.
I tua atu o ngā hāhi, ngā tikanga, ngā rohe.
Na roto anake i a Ia ka kitea te Matua.

Whakarongo ina awhi mai te waea:
«Whakarongo ki te reo o te aroha – ko Ihu te Ara, whakapono mai ki ahau!»

Me te kōrero nui o te hīmera, taonga pūoro – he hīmera hou me te wairua Māori.
Kāore he pēhi, he whakaruruhau noa iho.

Kāore koe i mokemoke.
Pērā i tā Ihu i kī ai: «Kei roto i a koutou te Rangatiratanga o te Atua.»
