This is the sound of 3am - the place is packed and its dark as f*** - the walls are dripping with sweat, and the bass is pounding your soul! The track, 'Warehouse Find' forces twisted synths, jacking rhythms and mental vibes into your mind and onto the dance floor. Definitely not for the faint of heart. Next up, ProOne79 drops another infectious peak-time bomb with 'Bad On Purpose,' a sonic mind-melter with a filthy acid line, dope samples and funky dance floor oriented appeal... this one's ferociously large. The freshness continues with 'Just Another Jacker', a super catchy ode to all the acid jackers in the place! Mind-melting tasty sonic goodness here from the super creative mind of one of UKR's rising stars, ProOne79. Born and raised in Colombia. CVT's musical line is a trip of mental and hypnotic techno with someacid roots. Her influences are artists such as Tadeo, Takaaki Itoh, Oisel, Steve Bicknel, Mike Parker among others. 

 Member of THC - The Hindie Corporation, Bogota collective as an event developer and DJ. Has played in the best Colombian capital clubs as Baum Bogotá, Video club, Kaputt, among others and in 2019, she had her first Europe tour playing in important clubs like Macarena (Barcelona),Melancholie (Berlin), Paradiso (Amsterdam), and in two of the most important electronic radios: Red light Radio (Amsterdam) and Operator (Rotterdam).

CRVDA is unpredictable, her sound is a wave of rhythms that pass through EBM, acid,electro and breakbeat. She's characterizedby her up and down cycles that makes the mind run off the dancefloor incredibly.Aleatory and voracious, Crvda is in constant motion, putting track after track withoutknowing what rhythm is coming. She has played in the most important clubs inColombia, one of the best festivals "RadikalStyles" and also participated in one of themost important radio stations in Amsterdam, Red light Radio.

Epikur – HÖR x Fluid Festival

For our second premiere of the week, we premiere a track from Glasgow based producer, Hank LW. One of Dublin’s most consistent producers has come through with a hypnotising, breakbeat anthem.

A string of sel releases, a release on the coveted Yin Yang various artists, Born Sleepy, Ganfeld Records & various radio appearances have made for an illustrious career fuelled by analog hardware and smooth selections.

The exceptionally talented Glasgow-based Dublin producer returns for his second outing on Modem Records. His track ‘Observer’ is a top-quality blend of electro synths and analog breaks, masterfully combined with a lucid top vocal that expresses his signature sound and identity perfectly.

Modem Records presents Overlooked Essentials Vol. II, a multi-genre compilation album in aid of the non-profit Feed Our Homeless charity in Dublin. This is Modem’s second instalment of their annual compilation – giving emerging talent the opportunity to promote their work with some of the country’s most established artists, while giving back to essential community services at the most difficult time of year.

Four Four Premiere: Hank LW - Observer [Modem Records]

Fear-E kicks off his brand new imprint Posh End Music with an EP from the man himself. His 'A New Era' EP features 5 original cuts exploring the boundaries of his unique rough and ready sound.

Opening the record is Scott's personal tribute to Paul Johnson in  'PJ the King', an artist who has had a foundational influence on the music we make today, and sadly passed away recently.

Following that 'I'm Gonna Dist You Right Now'(As featured in Eclair Fifi's 2021 Essential Mix) is a twist on the classic Acid formula, machine rhythm, and an addictive acid-line. Whereas 'ReZerection' flips the rhythm onto a more syncopated base - as always with Fear-E it's this variation in his sound and ability to keep it fresh which brings the pack together.

Rounding out the record are two more belters - 'Tom Tom Club' lets things get a bit more synthy and squelchy but still with the signature tight rhythmic energy, and lastly we have the first collaboration between Fear-E and Glasgow DJ/Producer Dave Shades under his alias DAIYE, their track 'I've Got Nothing Left' evolves the stripped-back banger form, and certainly doesn't spare the horses in getting you there.

The first Posh End release, Fear-E 'A New Era' drops this Feb 11th 2022.
