Alex Tsiridis, one of Techno’s more prolific producers, returns to the label he operates alongside Mor Elian. Tsiridis has used the Rhyw alias to explore more abstract interpretations of both the Techno genre, and the wider dance music spectrum.

On this particular missive Tsiridis looks to his musical roots, growing up in the UK for inspiration, with a pair of high tensile, deconstructed club tools. Both find their focus in the low end, with the artist looking to the silent space between percussive strikes as much as any one sonic component. Vocal cuts lend the tracks their identity, with careful shifts and edits thereof lifting both recordings up far and above the sum of their parts.

The result is satisfying & undeniably effective - Tsiridis’ output as Rhyw has always been deceptively simple - favouring economy of elements over a crowded sonic space. This latest effort is no different, a well executed & welcome addition to the discographies of both artist and label.

"Tender Trance" is the long-anticipated debut EP of the production collaboration between @djgigola and @kevkoko , and marks the 5th installment of the Live From Earth Klub imprint (LFEK005). Blending heavy trance synthesizers with broken beats and driving drums, the 3-track-release focuses on different shades of modern trance sound. The EP’s leading track "Papi", adds a layer of DJ Gigola‘s own hazy vocals. "Tender Trance" will be released June 14th 2019 in digital form as well as limited edition of 300 vinyl copies.

For Avoidant’s 3rd release and kicking off 2020 for the label is Autonomous. After a chance meeting and several demo exchanges, this new project has birthed the Dialekt EP. Drawing inspiration from Drexciyan-era Electro, Autonomous delivers on high intensity, funked out and mercurial minded tracks, designed with attitude and channeling the spirit of raw Detroit electronics. 

Title track Dialekt, is a mechanical mind bender as an ominous synth hook draws you deeper into the world of the Automaton. The Void remains steady with precision 808 beats and percussion, leading against a backdrop of twisted, acid soaked synths and a stylistic 80’s string. Celestial Spaces closes out this perfectly defined debut EP from Autonomous, once again focusing on clearly defined drums and a warped, undulating hook. off leads into uplifting, dreamscape pads accentuated by rave inspired vocals.

Mix #046 comes from label friend, AF444, who delivers an hour long vinyl mix of ominous vocals and industrial techno - with tracks from likes of; Perth Drug Legend, J-Zbel, Trade, DJ Richard.

AF444 AKA Aidan Fraser, first started mixing at the legendary Soma Afters in 2014 alongside Koran and have gone on to play at club such as La Cheetah, the Art School, Reading Rooms and more recently Corsica Studio in London under Schematic. 

AF444 makes up one-third of the Schematic trifecta, alongside Koran and DJ DDSIX.  They crew previousy ran a radio show supporting artists and DJs from around Scotland and since started the mix series looking to do the same with a wider reach of support.
