Cardiovascular tugging, euro-dance energy from Berlin based DJ HEARTSTRING on 1Ø PILLS MATE; for the lovers, the listeners and the trancers. Uniting the worlds of donk, euro-dance, trance and techno, the emerging producer is less concerned with opinions of the chin-stroking purists and more concerned with fun - crafting sensual and infectious pop-techno bangers that have fun firmly on  the menu.

‘Lost In Emotion’ begins with a deep, heads down approach, lending influence from the pop melodies of artists such as Marlon Hoffstadt and his Midnight Themes label but with a headsy, underground appeal. ‘In Der Nacht’ follows in similar passion - inspiring images of that club scene from Blade - a vampirish, dark and distinctly Berlin twist on the typical trance aesthetic.

‘Bubby Paradise’ trades the darkness for bubblegum, arcade soundscapes that could score a pixelated, arcade racer before we are transatlantically beamed to the carnival of Brazil’s capital; ‘São Paulo Fever’ giving Latin-American rhythms the signature Heartstring blend.

JIALING / BIG J is a Taiwanese American DJ/producer, interdisciplinary artist and founder of jjjjjjjj. Currently based in Brooklyn, JIALING was born and raised in Baltimore as a classical cellist. They spent several years living abroad in Asia, Australia and the Middle East before returning to New York. They are part of collectives AYI AYI (Brooklyn) and WOE (Baltimore) and have monthly residencies on London’s Balamii and San Francisco’s Hyde FM.

With a series of self-releases under their belt, BIG J’s contribution to our 2-track singles series brings the sounds of East Coast club to our roster. ‘babies’ combines an addictive vocal sample with Bmore breaks, 808 percs and of course the infamous Jersey bed squeak. ‘work this mtf’ transitions from club to warehouse, with techno-inspired drum programming. GABS003 sees Bristol's Works resident Portway join the label’s roster. With previous releases on TRAX HAVEN, Moon Rack, excess, Duckland and JUKE BOUNCE WERK, ranging from 100bpm chuggers to tearout jungle, Portway has established himself as a genre-defying chameleon. His forward-thinking sound design and innovative drum programming has gained recent support from LCY, A.Fruit, Skream and many others.

Portway takes a walk down the more percussive route in his contribution to our recently launched 2-track singles series, inspired by the likes of Sinjin Hawke, Scratcha DVA, Two Shell and Atrice. “Dropshipping” opens with a precautionary melody, descends into a flurry of metallic antiphony and is then quickly pierced by a formidable bassline complimented with intricately manipulated grime vocal samples. “Lithium Souls” combines shimmering pads with considered vocal chops and crackling drums. Bourassa is back and serving us a scorching new summer hit. This time, label boss Smolny doesn't hold back, unleashing a powerful holiday anthem titled "Need Love."

If you're truly in dire need of some love, this track is definitely for you! It starts off slowly and nostalgically, seasoned with a distinct amen break. The growing tension sends shivers down your spine, while a beautiful trance chord intertwines with a long pad in the background. Adding to the flavor is a twisted female vocal that seductively flirts with your senses. It all culminates in a euphoric experience, gradually building up to release the accumulated energy. Finally, everything explodes as a strong and expressive bass line hits you like a ton of bricks.

The following track "Running" takes a more tranquil approach, transporting us to a dreamy realm. Broken drums keep propelling us forward, never allowing us to pause. The melodic chord gracefully emerges, creating a chill atmosphere and setting the mood. After the breakdown, grooving bongos complete the picture.

The B-side features two fantastic remixes of the title track, "Need Love." The first one is a fierce breakbeat roller from Denham Audio. The change in bassline to the typical speed garage sound delivers an even more potent punch at the end.

The second remix is crafted by SLG, who flawlessly captures the sound of the '97s, creating a track in the progressive trance style from that era. A brilliantly composed bass line constantly propels the track forward, building tension alongside the melodic line. A real dance floor killer!

Based out of Dallas, Texas, with little online presence, Club Cab has remained somewhat of an enigma. His civilian work prevents him from sharing his music publicly, and not least due to the fact that his tracks are provocative old school electro inspired madness.
 
But his secret persona should not fool anyone. His music sounds like it has been lifted from an old Databass Records or Dance Mania pressing. With pure raw energy aimed right at the dance floor, these 4 cuts are guaranteed to get those booties poppin'.

Austrian producer DOS rolls through making his mark on the first release of new label, Running Out of Steam, already scoring a modern summer classic house infused release to make memories too.

EP track title 'Lucid Dreams' entwines twinkling, twitching vocals with deep compressed pads for the summer hazy days ahead with tropical synth melodies blending into a euphoric after-hours haze.

'Work That' launches into a nostalgic blend of crunchy breaks and endearing silky chords. Levitating through the track, it's building vocal line draws to an ecstatic drop for the living room dancefloor. Get the windows open and feel the wind in your hair for this sunrise belter.

On the flip side DOS injects his punchy pads and dusty 90's vocals for a cheeky four to the floor house anthem. Broken beat drum hooks move in unison with mellow synth lines to time travel back to better times.

‘Manta’ sees out the labels first outing with an epic bang, pulsating bass battles elegantly crunching with trance-esque sound pallets and classic jungle breaks.
