Chilean DJ @paulatape learnt her craft in an after-hours club back home in Santiago, where she would crib from the residents before launching out on her own. A move to Milan led to her becoming a resident at the city's Rollover night, and now she's starting to make a name for herself with shows across Europe, playing with the likes of Young Marco, Mall Grab and Tornado Wallace. In addition to her regular show on Radio Raheem called 'Music for Plants', Paula has also appeared on Rinse FM and Red Light Radio. Enough words though - this excellent mix, which we're very grateful to Paula for recording for us - should be all the necessary introduction to this exciting DJ.

8. Spirit Walker

Our Starry Universe is an independent record label from Brooklyn. It was the obvious progression of three veteran New York DJs, producers and avid record collectors as an outlet for their musical projects.
The label is about music for inspiration and relaxation whether you are on the beach or riding off into the sunset. With a fondness for studio magic, cool sounding synth lines, perfectly unquantized machine drums and reverberated warmth are celebrated. The music is uplifting with sublime synth melodies and reverberated tones.

A Separate Reality is the collaborative vision of NYC producers Nick Chacona and Tim Wagner. Nick has released on 20/20 Vison, Hector Works and Moodmusic, while TV and film composer Tim Wagner has worked with 33HZ and is the producer of Amy Douglas Solo Recordings, including the monster ‘Never Saw It Coming’ on DFA. Along with Amy Douglas, Nick and Tim were also members of Sunrise Highway, having released on Tensnakes True Romance.

Following on from the well received ‘Everywhere You Look’, which made the rounds in Ibiza and New York last year and was in high demand due to its very limited run, A Separate Reality deliver this maxi EP with a title that is slightly tongue in cheek, but is also on the money. It’s a record about the meeting of technology and spirituality. A meeting where you don’t really know what is going to happen, you only know the possibilities.

These six tracks are a journey into a world where Psyche-tinged Cosmic beats flirt with sparkling Electronica and Chug. Like the soundtrack to a surf movie playing over in your mind, it’s a sonic realization bursting with sunny synth sounds and full of good vibrations.

Jac The Disco returns with a second serving from his label 'Spin On This' which sees two new  original works and remixes from New York staples Eric Duncan and Juan Maclean. The EP  titled 'Manglik' meaning a person born under the influence of Mars. Having the powerful  influence of Mars in a birth chart determines a person's basic instinct, 'the qualities of  expression without thinking', which is exactly where this EP takes you. The EP delivers a 
selection of dance floor bangers filled with modulation, driving bass, elevating voices and  the signature JTD acid lines.

James Bright has quietly been making blissful electronica for over ten years, working in his early days as Lux with Steve Miller where they enjoyed a notable release on Café Del Mar. Now James is one of the names to watch on the modern Balearica scene, turning out highly polished, sparkling downtempo music for a myriad of discerning labels. Not least Quattro Music, where his forthcoming 'Betamax' EP can be found which includes the standout 'Flying Tiger'. Cool bass touches, lazy metallic drums, ethnic chants and the all important loon sound all combine to wow audiences from the Meditteranean to the Adriatic.

Sus inicios se remontan a principios de los 90, realizando un programa de radio llamado La Hora Indie, donde sonaban grupos como Ministry, Nitzer Ebb, Pulp o New Order. 

Es un autentico apasionado de la música y coleccionista de discos, especialmente los de doce pulgadas. 

El primer contacto con una cabina fue en el año 93 en Carmín, pasando luego a Farmacia de Guardia, donde es residente desde su apertura.
Durante casi dos años llevando las riendas de la sesión matinal Da Funk, por la que pasaron los principales dj,s de Valladolid. 

Ha sido  promotor y residente de dos sesiones muy destacadas en la ciudad de Valladolid, hablamos de Click Clack Club y Circus, por donde pasaron artistas de primer nivel tanto nacionales, como internacionales, también ha sido residente de clubs como Subterfugio, Refugio, UHF, La Española Cuando Besa, Summun ademas de la residencia mensual que tuvo en Dr Wax de Madrid en el año 2.001 

Su música ha sonado en salas como:Fellini(Bcn),Flow(Huesca),Beatz y Submarino(Salamanca) en la casi totalidad de clubs de la ciudad de Valladolid, como Radiola, Asklepios, Mocco, La Lola, Rosarillo Club, Factory, La Traviata, Namaste, Loop ,Cafe del Sol,1.900, Crisol, Matadero…También cuenta con un proyecto llamado La Máquina del Tiempo, donde se revisan los clásicos de los 80 y 90.

En sus sesiones siempre busca el alma a la música, destacando sobre todo su conexión con la pista. En estos momentos ha vuelto a la radio con su programa habitación615 en Ibiza Sonica.
