For the Hard / Match release, Scratchclart and NKC have traded places. Scratchclart’s ‘Hardbody 999’ is an overdriven 4 to the 4 drum slammer. As Scratchclart put it when he sent the track over to NKC, “no synth, no arps, jus drm.” 

It’s a track built for sweaty basement sets with tops off and hands in the air. NKC’s ‘Shuvvin Match’ is a hypnotic UK Gqom workout. Sparse turbocharged kicks, menacing sound design and relentless chants.

In celebration of Pride, the Daytimers and Big Dyke Energy collectives have joined forces to release a compilation featuring tracks from various queer artists, with all profits going to two charities that provide much-needed support to the LGBTQIA community - there will also be a small vinyl release. 

The 8-track compilation rallies together 8 acclaimed and up-and-coming artists, including No Nation, FAFF, Darama, Riva as well as some those who have been pioneering the way in the scene such as Manuka Honey, India Jordan,  Walthamstow Dogs featuring Sherelle and Enayet. The release journeys through sounds from across the electronic spectrum, moving from broken club rhythms, bass, breaks, acid and beyond.

In their first solo EP, BRF delivers a set of 4 tracks that have groove as their most powerful force. With an aura of mystery, the EP develops in an exploratory tone, bringing multiple references rigorously tied, with emphasis on the influence of dub on basslines and extremely sharp drums, with explicit references to breakbeat, jungle, funk and dubstep. It translates into the songs a rush of urban art that is very serious, but always relaxed. Finished at Sabará Rec., recording company in the North Zone of Porto Alegre, territory that marks the trajectory of BRF and brings the concept that drives the EP.

Following on from Le Motel’s knockout release in February, Brussel-based producer DJ JM lands on Maloca Records with a new EP ‘Squash’. The prolific producer is known for his impressive output of production-only mixes and releases on labels such as Nervous Horizon, Goon Club Allstars, and Even The Strong.

The DJ JM project was first established in Vilnius, Lithuania in 2015, becoming quickly known for off-kilter club records. Heavily driven by percussion, DJ JM continues his powerful stride, this time providing six weird and wonky dancefloor anthems. With the Maloca Records ethos built upon global collaborations, on this record DJ JM teams up with Ugandan MC Swordman Kitala on ‘Funicular’.

Launching Maloca Records in 2020, Le Motel aims to bring together an international network of makers which was highlighted on the label’s first compilation, Maloca Vol. 1. The release focused on a terrestrial and borderless percussive sound that has been bubbling in clubs and Le Motel’s orbit, featuring tracks from Nick León, OMAAR, DJ JM, Dengue Dengue Dengue, Coen, DJ N.K. and Tsongo. Maloca has also released solo EPs from Howie Lee, Farsight and Griffit Vigo.

Jamz Supernova's label Future Bounce this year turns it's hand to the club, with a year long series of club releases which will culminate in a compilation! Picking artists who’s productions have been a staple in Jamz' DJ sets, each month will see an original, exclusive two track drop. Ranging from well known underground producers to those yet to have their moment, focusing on the UK & beyond!

The 10th release is our competition winner Drumheller. At the end of 2020 Future Bounce opened up the series to give the opportunity of an official release to an up & coming producer. Out of over 100 entrants Drumheller, real name Tom Forbes came out on top. The Glaswegian producer, DJ & Promoter put forward two fantastic tracks that incorporate his love of UK Funky, Hard Drum, Gqom & Baile Funk making him the perfect candidate for the label. Not only fitting in with previous releases he also adds a new vibe to the series. Having just finished Uni in the middle of a pandemic, this is his debut release & hopefully the first of many!

About Drumheller:
Drumheller is a Glasgow-based DJ and Producer who takes inspiration from global club and electronic music, primarily creating tracks with infectious grooves, punishing percussion and massive bass. Drumheller established his profile over the past few years in the Glasgow bass music scene, with radio shows (Sub City, Clyde Built, and LVLZ radio), as well as through his multi-genre blend of dancefloor fillers. In addition, a series of  club-nights, such as Occupied and Bruk Out, attracted prestigious artists such as TSVI, Amy Becker, Murder He Wrote and Lorenzo BITW.
