Japanese sensation Mayurashka has arrived on Rhythm Section International !
We’ve long been fans of her hypnotic incantations that playfully subvert house and techno tropes to create wonderfully weird music that moves you.

Known for her delicate, subtly psychedelic approach to production - all subtlety is thrown out of the window on the opener, “Parents and God”. We are immediately confronted with a slamming Chicago house style beat in style of Mr Fingers at his most utilitarian. It slams, jerking in and out of tempo like Ron Hardy in beast mode.
Out of nowhere a soulful church organ arrives - at first for a brief respite - but then for an extended solo, which gives way to an 80s electro style breakdown before reverting back to form. It shouldn’t work, but somehow it does - to a dizzying extent - and heirin lies Mayurashka’s magic: a blatant disregard for norms and a deft touch that makes the unorthodox so compelling.

“Notango" takes another big left turn - sitting somewhere between tribal seance and rain dance, it’s mostly organic drums and otherworldly sound effects that combine to drag us deeper into the wormhole before “ Vat Murmur” takes us back into the light with its uptempo disco energy and giving way to heavy chugging bass. This one is equally for fans of idjut boys and Larry Levan.

The Ep rounds off with the title track “ LSI dreaming” - to try and describe it is almost impossible, but let’s say it starts of with a mid 2000s Perlon-era tech house energy before things quickly escalate beyond all recognition and then just hover with lysergic intensity. If I ever closed panorama bar, this is the track I’d end with.

Rebecca Goldberg is a Detroit-based DJ, producer and multimedia artist known for her raw and innovative approach to electronic music. 

She crafts techno, electro, and acid tracks that blend classic machine rhythms with experimental sound design and field recordings. Her work has been featured internationally, including performances in Paris, Detroit, and the UK, where she also completed an artist residency. 

Beyond the dance floor, Rebecca explores sound through interdisciplinary projects that merge technology, film, and visual art. With deep roots in Detroit’s musical legacy, she continues to push boundaries while honoring the city’s rich electronic tradition.

Julia Diệp My Feige moves swiftly between different worlds trying to bloom in liminal spaces. Across all media, she strives to remain true to her own intuitive and free way of creating and to express something deeply personal yet universal. "the second time will be different" explores the feeling of rhythms falling out of sync — the asynchronicity of being with someone, breaking up, meeting again, but realizing it will never be like the first time
with hypnotizing textures.

Jesse Futerman takes to the Sounds Of Beaubien Ouest (SOBO) imprint for the first time to release the 'Waterzone' EP, which features the smooth grooving house ballad of a title track.

Futerman linked with a collection musicians in Beverly Glenn-Copeland on vocals, Chris Edmondson on saxophone and Stacey Shopsowitz on bass to showcase a new side to his artistry with the 'Waterzone' EP. The result is a collection of three tracks that fuse intricate organic arrangements. As a whole, it's an incredibly beautiful release, one primed for a summer dance.

The 'Waterzone' EP is set for release August 24.

The next release on Psychostasia Recordings (PSY017)​, is Detroit artist, Mr. Brian Neal​. Featured on a past split EP with DJ and producer Reggie Dokes​, we find this talented producer on his own. This EP entitled, “Introducing Brian Neal,” ​presents four tracks​ of Deep House and Detroit Techno. The first track called “ Oooobaby​” was produced by Mr. Neal ​and co-produced​ by Avalon Kalin​. This track immerses you into a world of sexy deepness, with a subtle groove that moves hypnotically. The second track on side A​, is a track called “ Voodoo​.” With a Detroit Techno vibe, this track gives you that feeling of driving the Lodge Freeway with the top down in the Motor City​. On the flip side, Side B​ does not disappoint, with the first track called “ Feel Me​.” It is a soulful presentation of jazz and techno, washed over with a vintage synth that sways delightfully in the groove. Last but not least, is a track called “Panties​,” a sure floor grabber that reminds you of the infamous Detroit dance show called, “ The Scene​.” This funky track will surely snap some necks, and make some heads move on the dance floor. Take this journey with Brian Neal,​ as he continues the Psychostasia Recordings​ tradition of providing electronic intergalactic soul.
