We are proud to present ‘Undercurrents’, the third series of compilations featuring artists from the 3024 Mentoring Program.

Started in 2020, the Mentoring Program run by label owner Martyn has become a worldwide online and IRL community of artists sharing resources, ideas and inspiration. This compilation showcases the wide range of fresh and amazing music that is continuously surfacing from the program, unbound by strict genre definitions.

Besides a collection of new music, Undercurrents is also a consideration of what a record label can be in 2024. Whether it’s a platform for repurposing old material, providing daylight for new sounds, artists or even entire communities, or injecting new ideas about authenticity and sustainability into the current of the underground, rather than partaking in the unwinnable race over algorithm dominance. An understated approach for maximum impact.

Volodymyr Prysich aka Saturated Color is an electronic music artist based in Vinnytsia, known by his albums on Mystictrax - «Everybody Feels It» (2019) and «Phenomena» (2022), presents us his «Unknown People» EP - touching & weird breaks that organically intertwines drums and cascades of synthesizers into love lyrics. «This album is about parties in my native Vinnytsia, meeting people I don't know... the feeling when you're on the dancefloor and there are people around - that rarely happens in our city, but the idea came when I was playing this summer, and there were a bunch of people I didn't know, and I'm was like damn I need to call EP like that :) Everyone is dancing, chatting, and I'm standing there watching and vibin.
