A visceral affair, the A2 invokes the fleshy body horror Cronenberg without breaking stride. Young’uns take note: this is a masterclass of retrograde futurism. A high NRG macro trip ‘Sweet Chainsaw’ is the coronary artery of the bustling cityscape capturing the pulsating romance of the underground: a frenzied maze of industrial estates, a reclamation of the forgotten spaces, and above a call to arms - let’s be having ye.

This is a feeling which DJ Frankie continues to thread on the flipside, balancing the serious futurism of US electro with the nostalgic optimism of UK hardcore. Re-historicising seemingly disparate strands of electronic music into something of a ‘Raver's Guide’ - The Future Sound of the Past.

2022 is the year Jensen Interceptor returns to clubland, and he’s bringing friends with him. The filling in the sandwich of three collaborative projects in the first half of 2022. Between March’s smash EP with DJ Fuckoff on Unknown to the Unknown, and a still to be announced project with DeFeKT set for a May release, Just Want 2 Dance sees Jensen collaborate with Minsk’s Viikatory on a four-track EP. After a hot release on International Chrome’s Data Planet tape series last year, Viikatory showed us that she’s as equally prolific as Jensen Interceptor by inundating us with new tracks, all of the same high quality (outrageous considering she only started producing two years ago) - these inspired Jensen to propose working together resulting in these four breakneck party starters that will make you just want 2 dance.
