RNT introduces MOTEL PHANTASMA, a new project from a mysterious production duo with their incendiary Claptrap EP. A tasty double A-side 7”, this pair of tracks establishes the MP sound as both club-tough and musically weighty. 

The title track is a peaktime weapon of epic proportions, oozing slippery electronic percussion, razory synth work, and in-your-face vocal incantations delivered in Portuguese. 

The flip side is a bouncey Afro-boogie number, a bit more organic in approach, and with a relentlessly catchy hook by featured singer Kaleta. With a gorgeous full color jacket to match the music’s punch, this one is an absolute late-summer essential.

«This is most definitely a Lo-Fi House mix. I wouldn't have it any other way for the occasion. It’s a mix for welofi after all, that too my third one for the label. It’d also been more than 2 years since my last mix for welofi and in the time that has passed since, my understanding of what can be considered as Lo-Fi House has evolved as well. This mix begins at 123 bpm and ends around the 140 bpm mark. Madrid-based producer Bawrut has turned to one of the freshest musical exports of the Iberian peninsular in recent years. As his style holds classic as well as new elements the producer creates an overlap that DJs and club-goers cannot only agree on but rather become enthusiastic about. The artist's latest work, his 'Jomo EP', is going to be released shortly on PETS Recordings and the four-tracker and represents the Bawrut's aforementioned musical approach. 'Pioneers', the A1 of the EP and probably namely paying tribute to original electronic music artists, does the same in terms of sounds without a reference to today's club-culture as the chosen elements and synth-chords may follow a vintage approach but sound so refurbished that the sparkle of the present if not to say the future shines through. 

Bawrut's EP 'Jomo' will be released December 7th, 2018 on PETS Recordings.

10th release on @idasound comes from Bogdan from Saint-Petersburg, also known as "Krjuk" and member of duo "Soft Metal". 
Four original tracks on the EP are full of breakbeat influences with acid lines and quirky percussions, filled with weird vocal cuts, wonky and atmospheric melodism. This combination ends up in some finest leftfield sound in the result.
We got Miskotom from Vilnius on the remix bringing dark and mystic vibe to the title track while ИДА co-founders Uninc & Kolomensky make a signature touch on ‘Sevkabel Acid’.

he Citizen’s of Vice collective welcomes Adam Hignell's Don Dayglow alias to the label for a fresh four track EP. The 'Particle Zoo' label boss and DJ/Producer has been racking up the releases on both his own and other illustrious labels including Midnight Riot and Hot Digits. 'With Love' is the new EP and it features four sublime cuts that take in Disco, House and classic Electronic vibes. 
This is an EP with feeling and thought, evidenced particularly in 'Fight Back'. Adam sings about a subject very close to his heart - the ongoing climate crisis. The artist says "Extinction Rebellion sign-off their emails "with love and rage" - and this phrase has burned into my psyche. Love is the only weapon against evil, but love is a doing word... I'm full of rage that the youth are left to deal with this crisis and want to use my music to fight back somehow. My song tries to find the beauty in this emotion, yet as a House/Disco artist I don't believe I need to sacrifice anything, aesthetically… 

I'm seeking a way to express complex political ideas in danceable slices of boogie music." No less worthy, the remaining three tracks, Hooked On Music, Square Leg & Can't Get Enough take the listener on a journey through dance-floors past and present. Touches of Acid House, Rave and Techno rub shoulders with tight production, punchy bass, funky rhythms and more earworms than an earworm factory. 

With Love is a diverse EP that is playful, positive and shows you can place important subject matter in credible dance music.

The overwhelming sensations of physical, social, and emotional detention painted the horizon with a nostalgic hue..."so we felt a certain type of nostalgia for this particular future..." And now, in their sets and performances, Jonny Sriraxa and LuciB aim to transmit the entirety of that accumulated energy through rhythms oriented towards the dance floor--evoking reflection through motion-- and flowing across a variety of genres, histories, and influences that fuse the old, new, and still-evolving.
