Berlin’s Hypersoft collective kick off their new label with a 15-track VA raising
funds for trans youth and a launch party at OHM.

The collective, run by Berlin and London-based DJs TPR and DJ TEETH, emerged onto the scene in 2022 and is known for balancing breakthrough and established artists from the new school of the progressive landscape with legends and innovators of the scene, a resident lineup that includes Cromby, Bambi and Bliss Inc. and guests ranging from Sunju Hargun and Spekki Webu to nd_baumecker and Jane Fitz.

Their first release as a label follows the same principle: Adam Pits, Angel D’lite,
Bliss Inc., Cromby, D. Tiffany & Dugong, DJ TEETH, Desire, Dylan Forbes, E-Talking, Eoin DJ, Frederik Tollund, Inner Zone, Kasper Marott, Lisene and Running Hot all contribute to a VA that represents the nexus point where multiple axes of the current club landscape converge. Honoring your pain will teach you self-forgiveness. You should be able to feel the kindness within you and experience all the love you have for yourself. You will feel a conflict between the instinct to heal on your own, and the desire to accept the situation and seek support to get healed. You prove that you have an unwavering determination to get healed by choosing the latter. When you want spiritual healing, you have to place your faith in the universe, too. 
Surrendering the pain means releasing the pain and seeking support from the universe. It will help you ease your sufferings.
The negative ego vanishes from within you and makes your heart feel lighter once you release your pain. This is a sign of spiritual wellness. You will start to feel a deep openness towards things and think with a peaceful mind. You will become whole again and you will develop the ability to deal with the disruptions of your life with tolerance. The inner peace will be restored. Feal.

Limerick-based electronic duo 40hurtz and rapper Hazey Haze are gearing up to release one of the year’s most anticipated projects, a Berghain-inspired record, this Thursday. Known for their experimental approach, the collaboration fuses the bass-heavy energy of Limerick’s dubstep and grime scenes with the industrial, techno-infused sounds of Berlin’s Berghain.

Inspired by a surprise booking at Berlin’s legendary Berghain, 40hurtz and rapper Hazey Haze dove into the studio to create a fresh batch of tracks, gearing up for their performance at the CTM Festival in February 2024. The result is an album that fuses 40hurtz’s hard-edged, groove-laced UK-influenced production with Hazey Haze’s gritty, hard-hitting lyricism.

40hurtz, known for his innovative and uncompromising production, has crafted a collection of tracks that push boundaries, delving into the darker, more atmospheric side of electronic music while preserving a distinctly Irish edge. Teaming up with Hazey Haze added the final touch, infusing the project with sharp, witty lyricism and a vernacular rooted in Irish culture. Together, they deliver a sound that is both bold and unmistakably tied to the Emerald Isle.

40hurtz said “A product of a crazy gig booking, and not wanting to bring old music to Berghain. Myself and Haze Locked ourselves away for a month and a half and crafted some songs worthy of the legendary venue. So, here is this bunch of bass heavy , distorted vocals , gritty imagery and hopefully danceable grooves!”
