'Reise Ins Glück' (engl.: journey into happiness) was the second EP from Pitchwork in 1996 by three young students from Freiburg (im Breisgau). At the time it also marked one of the very first record Alex (Sevensol) ever purchased and since then always finds it´s way back into his record bag.  Three of the original tunes plus one unreleased track ('Rückreise') are now available again on vinyl. Fitting for the dancefloors of the 1990's just as much as it still is today.

This record mirrors the personal dance music ethos for Long Vehicle, blurring fine lines between driving tech-house, slightly progressive acid and dubby garage music. Yes sure, let's go to bed grandpa.

More often than not you’ll find the London-based Japanese dj and producer behind the counter at Vinyl Delivery Service or manning the decks at Brilliant Corners. I met up with Himitsu (real name Shin) a few months ago at VDS and besides being the very best of company, obviously left with some top digs. And returned the next day for more.

...and we're so proud to present to you the second installent of our Patchworks V.A series. It's been a long time in the making, and here we have a collection of electronic tracks from 9 absolutely incredible FLINT (female/lesbian/intersex/nonbinary/trans) producers from all around the world. With support from BBC Radio 6, Kool FM and Rinse/SWU, the tracks have already been doing bits.

Blissful queer UKG, thumping UK funky, euphoric, skin-tingling techno, sassy 150 stompers, sexy analogue ghetto bangers, slamming 160 - we've got it all, and more besides. This V.A takes you on a proper tour through every mood, speed and vibe that underground dance music has to offer. It's an absolute toolbox for any DJ that considers themselves multi-genre, and even for the non-DJ's it's got a track for every occasion. It's a testament to the eclectic nature of dance music, and also of people.

All proceeds from this V.A will go to the Trans Asylum Seeker Support Network, a non-profit, anti-state and grassroots organisation that supports trans refugees in every aspect of life after arriving in the USA. The money will specifically go to helping Noah, a trans person who is a refugee from Palestine.

The price is slightly higher here than the last V.A - this is because although we believe in the pay-what-you-can way of operating, times are really hard for refugees more so now than ever before, and we're trying to raise as much as we can.
