Ardalan and Farsight are accomplished musicians in their own right. Peruvian-American Farsight has had a string of recent releases on labels like Scuffed, Cloudcore and most recently Rinse FM’s own label having also delivered a top-notch set for Boiler Room in which he debuted 'Cerebral Peanut' from this EP. Iranian-born Ardalan has been spreading his nascent party brand Ardy Party all over North America while maintaining a dynamic range in styles from releases on Pets Recordings, Toy Tonics, and Dirtybird. The two of them have joined forces to great effect here and deliver a release that exemplifies the label’s commitment to reimagining classic electro.

The rugged '2 Yr Town' rides on coruscated analog beats with lashings of synth and warped acid lines spraying about the mix. Chattery percussive patterns, off-grid hits and a dark vocal all bring the whole thing to life in an arresting fashion. The fantastically wonky 'Cerebral Peanut' then ups the ante with brilliantly fluid synths and clanging hits over a turbocharged electro rhythm that looks to the future. It's a vibrant sound with an all-new sense of character.

Club Designs alumni and Slab Events founder Max Ulis is known for his musical adventures on Sloth Boogie, Pacific Rhythm and Vrnt. He skillfully flips the ‘Yr Town’ on its head and re-engineers it as a late-night shoulder roller that's perfect for 4 am warehouse sets.

“See the Light” by https://soundcloud.com/user-459020245  a triptyque cut, out to be the straightforward, grimy, clean, and uncluttered bass track the producer always seeks for when going for the uncompromisingly strong raw material.

The Concealed Club Manifesto project pays homage to the mid 2000s underground UK club music scene, an era of music which acts as well of inspiration and creativity for the Nouveau Monica, and has no doubt helped shaped his sound. For the French producer, the UK club scene holds a special allure and mystique, especially since he observed this phenomenon from afar, and was idealized as one of the most “pivotal” moments in underground club culture, making it seem intangible, hence concealed. Nouveau Monica’s sound palette is deeply rooted in the UK scene, which he combines with his own personal musical background. This mid 2000s UK club sound is what the producer defines as his “Golden Era” and the genres created during that time are the building blocks of the Concealed Club Manifesto EP.

Nouveau Monica - See The Light

The title track of Aria Rostami’s ‘Water From The River’ album kicks off in a rousing fashion with quick beats and celestial melodies, all lifting you off your feet and placing you up amongst the stars. 'Red of the Burning Wood' is a dense collage of percussive loops, fractured R&B vocals, and heavenly chords that suspend mid-air. Then, 'Gandom' offers more compelling broken beats and meticulously layered percussive sounds, watery synths, and muffled vocals that offer many different focal points.

'Esfand' on Rostami’s ‘Water From The River’ ups the energy levels further and is a hyper-speed rhythmic workout with shimmering pads and tightly interwoven layers of drums, while 'Water Returning' is an ambient interlude that allows you to catch your breath. 'Farvardin' once again takes off on fantastically intricate jungle rhythms and deft drum programming that is organic and alive, after which 'White of the Burning Forest' shuts down with another impossibly vibrant and lively mix of groove and tropical sound designs that keep you afloat amongst smeared cosmic pads.

Brooklyn-based Aria Rostami has been releasing music since 2011 and, since then, has released on esteemed labels like Dark Entries, Geographic North and Spring Theory, both solo and in collaboration with the likes of Saint Abdullah, El Joven and Daniel Blomquist. His beat-driven electronic music is often conceptual, draws on a wide range of influences and is made using predominantly hardware.

Xen Chron returns to the label with his Xenology-influenced style, sounding something like a 2-stepish take on Autechre remixing a track by Stinson's legendary Transllusion project, perfectly exemplifying his USA - UK relation and connection.

UK bass first team player Product Toss keeping game deep and rolling, but a bit more percussive and bassy, preparing the road perfect for the late night driving in Kid Kun-s German whip with his sub-loaded darkside stepper.

Mexico City's exciting underground club scene don Octoptic delivers an idm-ish technoid breakbeat weapon, ideal for late-night club workoutz.

Tokyo's Albino Sound continues the frequency invasion via his experimental street-style psychedelic techno, of course with key elements from the UK bass sound and scene (the foundation of this subterranean compilation).

Then, label top boy Iggy presents his new project "EssΞncƎ". A 2-step, warp-drive bass-powered journey to outer space, somehow dark and ethereal at the same time with an ambient Lee Gamble-style outro as well as a powerful message via TikTok!

On closing duty, Hungarian sound artist Audio Compression provides ambient bliss therapy for listeners' minds, slowly sinking into ethereal depths, taking us to new levels of this magic ascension.

Massive shouts to all the soundboys and the rest of the fam for making all this happen. The truth is  out once again.
