Just announced for Above & Beyond’s Group Therapy 450 celebrations in London, Pretty Pink’s third release on Anjunabeats is ‘Let You Go’, featuring Berlin electro-pop artist Emina Sonnad.

Pretty Pink first appeared on the label in 2020 with her progressive twist on Gabriel & Dresden’s ‘Remember’. She quickly followed up with two singles: ‘Come Back’ and ‘Echo’ (feat. Gracie Thunder). 

She runs her own label, Wanderlust, as well as Deep Woods: a label, event series and radio show. Pretty Pink recently celebrated the 150th episode of the Deep Woods radio show with a livestream from Regenstein Castle, Germany.

We’re thrilled to say Pretty Pink will be joining Above & Beyond at their sold-out Group Therapy 450 show in London on August 14, 2021.

Pretty Pink feat. Emina Sonnad - Let You Go

Vhyce returns to Pets with more of his beautiful signature cosmic disco and his timing is exquisite. Making his debut on Catz & Dogz label earlier this year with 'One Day We'll Float', the release landed just at the right time as we all plummeted into a bleak new year.

Now as summer begins to open up again, and things look a little brighter, he returns with equally precision-timed sounds. With its sultry bassline and big romantic pads, 'Monde Réel' hits with a big dose of hope. Translating to 'real world', this is a homage to the future. And that positivity remains on 'Insieme'. This time translating to 'together', it's another moment of unity as Vhyce takes us up and down the scale in classic Q&A arpeggiated style. Soft, gentle but emotionally soaring; you can almost feel the hugs as the woozy synths roll out.

Always one for balance, Vhyce includes the much tenser and introspective 'Subdued' for those darker moments when unity and togetherness seemed so far away. Then Catz N Dogz close the show themselves with a startlingly bright and dreamy take on 'Monde Réel'. Hopeful, fun, wholesome feel-good electronic music. Because Vhyce makes it so damned well. And because we all deserve to float again.

Visionquest have made a big impact in their first two releases on the imprint from Seth Troxler, Ryan Crosson, Lee Curtiss and Shaun Reeves. Now they fill up the dancefloor with light on ‘Dark Song’ EP from the compelling Tale Of Us.

Engulfing the listener in a luscious wall of sound from the onset of ‘Dark song’, Tale Of Us take an abstract and harmonious approach to their music. Understated beats and yearning vocals stretch the imagination to new heights in a new strain of house music engaging the senses through warm tapestries of sound.

Using similar low-end whispered sounds that resonate in a deep place, ‘Circle Of Love’ is a magnetic slice of dancefloor music. Its skipping beats and rippling bass enthralls but it’s the sensual vocal that gives ‘Circle Of Life’ a special edge and adds an element of mystery. ‘Valiant’ completes the package with an epic dose of bubbling beats and pads, inventing a masterpiece hybrid of techno and deep house leaving you spellbound.

Tale of Us are Berlin-based DJ and production partnership Karm and Matteo who are currently re-writing the rulebook for deeply moving, emotional electronic music. Together they share a sonic vision that pulls together elements of house and techno with influences from pop, nu-disco and even rock music. While all of their productions are instantly recognisable as Tale Of Us, these range from straight-up dance floor jams to low-slung ambient tracks and more abstract compositions. While both originally hail from North America, Karm was born in Toronto and Matteo in New York, they moved to Italy as children, which is where they met and formed the close working bond that they now share.

At present they are based in Berlin, an inspirational frontier, which has given them numerous opportunities to build relationships with fellow musicians who share their unique musical outlook and resulted in this special Visionquest release. Prior to this, Tale Of Us tracks could be found on labels such as Barraca Music, Cocoon' and Life & Death (the Tale Of Us remix of Thugfucker ‘Disco Gnome’ on Life and Death was hailed by Mixmag as one best records of 2010) and have put out various remix collaborations with fellow Visionquest label mates Shaun Reeves & Ryan Crosson. The project began with an original track by Bodaishin & Lupe Republic, composed more than two years ago. Eight artists from different corners of the world offered to reinterpret it, working with the same stems but translating them into unique emotions, processes, and perspectives. The result: 10 diverse interpretations, united by one message.

With the support of Proton, 100% of the profits from this compilation will be donated to Doctors Without Borders, directly contributing to their humanitarian work in the most affected areas.
