Written between 2020-2021, “Cerulean” is a ten-track album which delves into the isolation of the emotion of blue. The tracks flow between UK genres, combining sliced breaks, emotive melodic synths and deep pulsating low end to audibly display Jeigo’s intricate and melancholic production qualities. The album was produced in his former family home in South West London during the pandemic and finished in his home for the last two years in Peckham. Each track sits on the border of home listening and club functionality, with essences of crying on the dance floor euphoria, to those blissful or challenging moments alone.

Mr Beatnick & Richard Greenan present their debut collab album Coasty. Brought together by their respective shows on NTS Radio, the duo have forged distinct paths in different scenes - both are producers, DJs and label heads of imprints Mythstery and Kit Records.

Recorded at their residency at PRAH studios, Margate, Coasty brings together contrasting approaches - with one foot in Beatnick’s work across house and hip-hop, and the other in Richard’s textural avant-garde experiments. The results coalesce in unexpected ways - with saxophone, harp, and drum machines colliding and decaying around structures that mimic and subvert the dance floor.

With guest appearances from cult vocalist bb sway and strings by Galina Juritz (“Harbour Arms”), to the steady ambient thump of "Superb Crafty Garden", and krautrock inspired beats of "How To Draw Roger", Coasty's peculiar alchemy is already finding favour with DJ's that like things just that little bit weirder.

Low Recordings welcomes Glo Phase with a hazy & dreamy journey through sound.

 The EP kicks off with "Left Bank," immersing the listener in a dreamy, hazy sonic landscape. Drifting bass lines, subtly evocative keys reminiscent of sirens, a gentle kick, and a grounded snare keep us swaying and grooving as the track unfolds. Suddenly, a flourish of keys, an echoed clap, and a delicate vocal embellishment remind us that there's much more to explore in this evolving world that Glo Phase meticulously crafts. These flourishes are the signature elements that define the unique universe he's constructing for us.

 Next, he leads us into a fresh auditory realm titled "Ancient Shift." The droning sounds persist throughout the track, with keys, bassline, and drum beats shining through, playfully inviting our ears to engage with them. This seamlessly paves the way to the closing track of "Hidden Harbor."

 "Hidden Harbor" serves as the perfect exit from Glo Phase's crafted world. It exudes subtlety, and the steady beat of the kick drum provides an impeccable segue out of the immersive realm he's built. The keys gently ebb and flow until they bid us a gradual farewell.

Following up from 2022’s debut album, the “Saudade LP” on the revered Shall Not Fade label, Lorca returns with a new 6 track EP on his own Live Ones imprint. 

Where the Saudade LP focused on the more ambient and ethereal end of electronic music, True Clour was born out of a new found obsession with Eurorack and therefore takes a darker, more mechanical approach, focusing largely on mutant basslines, driving drum machine rhythms, and flurrying synth lines. 
  		
The intro track “Buchla’s Bump” is aptly named after the synth it was programmed on, the Buchla Easel and features bumping, pulsating sub bass, sample and hold midrange bass, and chugging 606 drums.  

“Beams” and “Spotlight Symphony” follow in a similar fashion, this time utilising filter resonance as a melodic tool as the tracks build to a euphoric yet melancholic ending.  

“Late Nate FM Jam” interrupts the beats as an instrumental interlude, featuring underwater soundscapes and glistening, reverb soaked arpeggios. “True Colour” and “Ghosted” switch up the tempo and involve live, distorted, overdrived, and compressed drum breaks alongside more mutant basslines to round off the darkest and most techno influenced EP Lorca has yet produced.
