After its latest broken beat and deep jazzy split reléase, Nómada White Pt IV, Nómada Records is ready to embark to a deeper and clubby journey with HOMES by Icelandic producer Oli Breidfjord a.k.a ILO; who has released music on well known labels such as Rebirth, Lagaffe Tales and True Romance among others..

ILO is well known for his hypnotic deep long tracks combined with raw drums patterns, powerful deep basslines, gorgeous and subtle filters, rare and catchy sampling techniques, by playing and messing around with the dinamycs of each instrument and adding music tension arragements to put you in a trance and frenetic situation. And of course this reléase with Nómada Records is not the exception. Homes is a four tracker Ep where all the tracks were written and produced by ILO back in the day in different times and places.

Frédéric Faupin returns to Moon Beam Records under his Mr Fuzz alias with five funk- influenced cuts entitled ‘Briefcase’.

Frédéric Faupin aka Mr Fuzz is influenced by the soul of the 70s: jazz, gospel, funk and global sounds. In 2002 he composed his first solo album entitled ‘Electro Twist’ under his alter ego Mr Fuzz and has since become one of the most prolific artists on SFP Records under the pseudonyms of Mr Fuzz, Jack In Da Box and Sofian Rouge. In 2019 he signed to Electropical Record and Moon Beam under his alias The Forsaken, where he charted in the top 100 House chart on Beatport and now returns to Moon Beam with the exciting ‘Briefcase’ release.

‘Breifcase’ kicks things off with a laid-back trip-hop cut featuring gentle keys, weaving synths and bouncy bass grooves before ‘Caribéo’ lays focus on alleviating pads, uplifting vocal samples and fluttering modulations rising through the cosmos. ‘Capo Cobona’ delivers a winding house track featuring funk-infused melodies, tranquil atmospheres and soulful elements throughout.

‘Dress Code 95’ continues with the sunshine soaked vibrations through deep low frequencies, elevating oscillations and sweeping tones keeping the energy flowing until ‘No one can fly like this’ rounds off proceedings with low-slung drums, lightening synths and beautifully tranquil melodic notes.
