Another track by the artist Ninguem aimed at the House Music dance floors, featuring Bdjoy on percussion and vocals, in a tone of spoken word in Creole from Cabo Verde, imposing groove, filled with private jokes, bringing us the image of a master of ceremonies at a house party. This result arises spontaneously in the studio environment, and in the end, almost without realizing it, this song is born, honoring Batata, Ninguem's loyal dog companion.

Joaquim developed musically from a very young age, learning to play the guitar and piano. Still quite early on, it was in drums and percussion that he found a great passion. Later on, as a percussionist, he began to perform mainly with DJs in clubs and festivals. In the meantime, he professionalized himself in Music Production at ETIC. From 2018 onwards, he signs his works with the name "Ninguem". Being an enthusiast in discovering new music, as well as being able to share his discoveries, DJing became the ideal way to present himself to the public, bringing a huge sense of celebration to his DJ sets. Since then, he has been releasing music on various labels, such as the Portuguese Kazukuta and Percebes Música, the American Open Bar Music and Kolour Recordings, and had his debut EP released by the Swedish label Blossom Kollektiv. His latest release was in June 2023, with the EP "Passarinho" by Percebes Música. In this work, the artist's desire to express himself in an eclectic way is evident, exploring everything from ethnic electronica to more erudite sounds, with nuances of Synth-Pop in between.

A chapter point if it could be said, an accumulation of all that has come before in recent times, a celebration of the fabulous work being done throughout the land which has left a long lasting mark on the wider contemporary electronic music landscape. Covering genres such as House, Broken Beat, Nu-Boogie, Disco and pretty much everything inbetween, there’s a lot of ground to cover - but this VA leaves no stone unturned, and the listener is all the better for it.
