Belgian label brokeboi records returns with a fresh new release from emerging artist samee, a project rooted in club culture but unafraid to wander across borders.
His 4-track EP, landing April 25, dives headfirst into a hybrid soundworld of breaks, bass, and globally inspired rhythm.  

Having quietly evolved from previous work, samee steps into their own lane here. Driven by movement, the EP is playful, physical, and deeply textured.
Tracks like "piki piki" and "bamako" draw inspiration from African musical traditions, blending deep hitting vocals with rolling low-end pressure and bright, off-grid percussion. It’s club music with a wide lens.

Across the four cuts, samee balances the raw energy of the dancefloor with a detail-oriented production style that rewards repeat listens.
The result is a project that feels just as at home in peak-time sets as it does on home speakers, an intentional duality.

The "Dark Side" EP features:

2. Mayfield Rhythm: A bashment-infused take on 00's UKG, delivering a nostalgic yet fresh sound.

4. Come To Me: A dark and broken beat track featuring the talents of up-and-coming Irish producer Bagheera.


OhhTwoNine, hailing from Kanturk, Co. Cork, is known for a sound that seamlessly fuses groovy house and techno with the deep bass and intricate rhythms of UK garage, dubstep, and breaks. OhhTwoNine launched his alias in 2019 and since then, he has released tracks on an array of labels such as Price.Incorrect.(BR), Reluxe Records (GER), Filth Inc.(IND), Freezit Records, BLINDSided and ENIGMA Records.  
OhhTwoNine has also made waves in radio, holding a monthly residency on Data Transmission in 2023 and appearing on RTE Pulse for Sharpsons Gaff Party and Wag Ya Quirk with Dialectics on Warm.FM (BEL).  

With a constantly evolving sound and a drive for innovation, OhhTwoNine's mantra is, "The best is yet to come."

Vancouver/Paris -based imprint Club Designs is back with its biggest compilation to date.

CDMUSIC012, the latest in the label's ongoing series of electro inspired VAs, boasts an eclectic mix of producers from across the globe, paying their respect to the classic Detroit genre.

The compilation features music from Vancouver heroes Greazus, French DMC champion Saligo, Berlin’s Insomniast, and label alumni Shanx, alongside label co-founders Sharkki, who teams up with hot French producer Body Hook, and Garneau who brings a deeper cut to the pack.

Tokyo newcomer Kanse keeps it old school, while Aleister and Minor Sine Project bring the modern productions into play. Sonically, the release traverses the full scope of the imprint's sound, with streamlined percussive club tracks, bass-heavy workouts, and leftfield electro explorations that nod to both UK club culture and North America's undergrounds.

Club Designs has been steadily building a reputation as a stronghold of gritty and raw dance music, and CDMUSIC012 sounds like both a rallying cry and a celebration of the collective energy that powers the label.
