An artist very much on the rise, Brazilian selector Trajano is currently blazing a trail across the underground. By the time the sun set on the summer of 2024, he already had both a European and South American tour in the bag, and with one flick through his accomplishments this year, it is clear to see why. His productions are just as high-octane as his DJ sets, and with an EP about to drop on Distrikt Paris, he already has cracking tracks out on No CCTV, Sublinar Records, LEMAIA, and Bliss Records.

With a rap sheet like this, we couldn't wait for Trajano’s debut on our InSession mix series and it was worth the wait. Tempering muscular house with moodier shades, the Casa Stereo founder steps between the two with ease. Deft in his execution, he takes care not to miss a beat as he guides us through an acid soaked snapshot of what we can expect from him in 2025. The Brazilian rarely makes the long trip to Europe and beyond, so all the more reason to make sure you catch him when he is in town and why you should make the trip to his home turf.

“Beatsote” perfectly blends emotional, harmonic breakdowns and with the raw power of driving drum. Layered with captivating vocal effects and the energy of powerful synths in the drop, this track stands out on its own. Sitting somewhere between house and tech house, Beatsote is simply a stunning piece of dancefloor magic.

“In The Game” is a track built 100% for the dancefloor. Driven by hypnotic, repetitive vocals that pull you deeper into the night, a pounding bassline that moves your body with every beat, and crisp drums that hit with precision. DJ Aficionado is a Berlin-based DJ and one of the brains behind Orbita, as well as a resident of Refuge Worldwide. Born in Barcelona and schooled by many blissful summers in Ibiza. His sets are easy-going, yet heady, happily unpredictable, and always engineered for maximum good times. He’s played far and wide, and while he’s definitely made a lot of people dance, he may—or may not—have moved someone to tears at the one and only Love International Festival (his best gig and favourite place in the world so far).
